You make a good point, I dont think the government/ driving authorities have taken this into consideration. Not to mention the faster acceleration of EVs from standstill.
Hi Johnathan. Electric cars are easy to learn in but at the moment almost everybody in the UK learns to drive a manual. Very few learn in an automatic. The number of tests taken in electric vehicles are negligible. Eventually everybody will have to learn in an electric vehicle. So we are trying to explain the different driving techniques between the electric and the automatic cars. So Johnathan do you think that learners of electric cars should practice in high and low regeneration, to understand the different styles of driving?
