From a mechanical engineer, yep. Very hard to control the exact position too, if made from scratch. I do believe they are still interesting and maybe fun to discuss. But definitely not easy haha
Your bridge stays on its own mostly bcs your road is solid piece i Poly Bridge road and all the other stuff is segmented and have full 360 rotation. If you want to improve "realism" of your bridge i would suggest swaping road w segmented pieces able to rotate (not 360 of course bcs its impossible irl but just include more ability to rotate) to further improve it you might test and scale to our world poly grams and strength of the materials. Anyway very good idea and video.
I love 3d mini models. I love the idea of making mini models of pc games. I’ve always thought it be neat if someone made poly bridge irl. I hope you continue making videos. You’ve gained your 237th sub from me.
This is so cool! I love the way everything looks and the way you used 3D printing! Congrats on making the coolest thing I've seen all week! By the way, if you're interested in getting any of the actual 3D models from the game, I can send them to you over discord!
RUclips hates me right now and I've been trying to send all of this for the past two hours, I'm 'Mason "workshop boy" ator' in the Poly Bridge server lol
Nice job with this build. That mountain looks fantastic! My favorite project we did at school was very similar to this. We used tubes of rolled up paper and hot glue. Most striking to me was that we spent an entire hour playing with constructions made of triangles and squares to internalize the point that triangles are stable and squares are not. Yet everyone except us made their bridges out of squares. /shrug
Dude, fantastic job, that looks só good!! Very impressive how well you managed to recreate the polybridge look. And made functional bridges! The trusses mattered! Would be cool to see a succesful hydraulic bridge in action! Dropping a sub in the bucket for that ✌️ The music is uncharacteristically intense for polybridge imho tho 😅
RCE shoutout based, but the video was just meh. First I appreciate your effort and the design is really beautiful. But you had one hydraulics fail and then just call it a day? And in the end you reveal that the bridge holds up without supports and call that a win? I'd call that a loose. Making sure the bridge actually breaks without supports would have been the first thing I did.
bro chill, this is their first video ever, made for what they probably assumed would be 20 people max, not meant to be extremely satisfying and engaging to thousands of people. you shouldn't be complaining that this first-time content creator wasn't immediately able to make something that went farther above and beyond than they already did
Hydraulics are a nightmare irl and not just in the game!? Thanks for confirming! 😅
Thanks for recommending this !
Who are you again ? And why are you commenting from paddy's channel.

This was so fun to watch. Thanks for all the time you put into it.

❤ I LOVE 3D MINIATURE MODELS. THIS IS ADORABLE!

Well I thought the thumbnail was a screenshot from the game so A+ there for sure
RCE sent me here
I really need to see the one with hydraulics now!
I would love to see the bridge collapse so please make the van heavier or the road weaker
You could have easily gotten sponsored for this!
Nice video, you're on a good way😊
game devs needs to sponsor this guy ASAP
Awesome creation!
The omission of the strongest shape is a bit disappointing.

First video and already a hater writing meaningless essays in the comments! That means they're a REAL youtuber, very impressive to get there so fast.
Your videos are amazing lol
