It is so nice to hear your comments about Pattaya. It drives me insane when people hate on Pattaya for that reason. You can find the same thing in Bangkok, Koh Samui, Phuket, Chaing Mai, and basically anywhere or any major city in the world. I was raised in an ocean town in Canada so I love Pattaya for the ocean. There are so many things to do in Pattaya. There are beaches, golf courses, temples, muay thai stadiums, bicycle tracks, world class shopping centers, race car track, 3 go cart tracks, movie theatres, boat tours, sea doo rentals, motorbike rentals, always so sort of events on the beach, aquariums with a gazillion different fish, amazing restaurants, massage shops, santuary of truth, tiger kingdom, elephant sanctuary, amusement parks, water parks, night markets, I could go on and on. If anyone comes to Pattaya and only sees nightlife well that speaks more to the person and not the city. I love Pattaya and would not live anywhere else in Thailand.

Wow, Thailand looks very convenient to travel to different places. And most importantly, shops and food are everywhere on the road. One day I will be able to go there.

I took my fam of 4 with kids ranging from 8-21 to Bangkok fron the US in 2017 and got madd hate from a few old heads
"Its just partying and prostitution"
They couldn't have been more wrong
We found something for everyone from Hello Kitty cafes, cat cafes, beautiful parks and scenery, luxury movie theaters.
We get so influenced by negative stereotypes which is what makes most people afraid to travel abroad.
We will definitely return to Thailand and now Pattaya is on the list.

Great video showing Pattaya is a very livable city. I appreciate your comments and dislike the typical walking videos that have no commentary. One request would be when walk by a vendor or a restaurant pause for a bit to show what they are selling or if you mention a restaurant pause to show what the inside looks like if you can. Anybody who happily whistles Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer has to be a good guy! 👍

Thank you for another great video. Our family of 4 just left Thailand last week we stayed for 30 days, and had a blast. We avoided Pattaya because of the reputation people have given it. You have shown us another side we didn't know about. We will be back next year hopefully to move there and will put Pattaya on our list to check out. O Yea we tried the coconut ice cream at Chatuchak market and it was 🔥.

Informative video. I like the Neighborhood Walking Tour concept! I enjoyed Jomtien. I stayed at D'Varee during my visit in September and also ate at Qulture Lounge and met the owner, Brandon. The food was delicious!

I visited Pattaya 24 years ago, so it will be really cool to see again after all these years, currently I'm in Da Nang Vietnam, I had to leave Thailand as I was coming up on the end of my second extension, but I'll be back next month and I'm definitely heading to Pattaya, got to check out Qulture Cafe, if you're game maybe we can meet up.

It always surprises me how big Jomtien actually is. I usually stay close to Dongtan Beach and u showed me places
" in the South" I never realized before.....
I live Pattaya and its a great place to live. In my opinion it is the best for things to do, restaurants, bars, music etc outside Bangkok. For day to day life I am mostly working and exercising and hanging with my gf and its just much more pleasant to do that with the ocean right outside your door and not a busy crowded city. Bangkok is a relatively short trip away and go for a weekend there at least once a month for like 100 US dollars in hotel charges. I have gf, so dont worry about ladies of the night, if you are apt to partake may not be the best place to live as more per capita here, though there is a ton of other stuff to do

glad you enjoy living here. I’m Thai. As soon as I quit my corporate job before covid in 2020 I moved here to Pattaya. Love it here. I get why it’s known for what it is but there’re so much more here. Pattaya is not just walking street 😂. There are other neighborhoods like Mab Prachan where it’s cleaner, quieter but you can also find authentic international cuisine and bars and etc

I like that you narrate the video because just footage walking around by itself is very boring but I give you the credit for narrating it while you're walking because I'm trying to do the same thing here in Brazil and it's really awkward and I feel super self-conscious like everyone's looking at me especially because I don't speak Portuguese and they hear English

I have been watching you tube videos of Thailand. Particularly Pattaya for a while.. Almost for a year. :) I too am from the US. Particularly I am Indian. Came to the US in the late 80's. now I am retired 64 years old. Thinking of Pattaya. But scared. I have no soul there. :)

korandos has the best pizza in pattaya to me, but if you need a quick pick me up when you're out and want pizza, bronx pizza is legit too

I stayed at the Amazon Residence a few years ago. A bit off the beaten path. But quiet with a nice, big pool between the buildings. The area you covered is more called Jomtien than Pattaya. A bit South/Southwest of Pattaya.
I agree, I would rather wait to get in the water at the islands rather at the Jomtien and Pattaya beaches.

Great info on this video and several of your others. I am curious about the ability to find organic food in Thailand. I am sure it is more $$ but how hard is it to find organic fruits and veggies? Plus, grass fed beef, pasture raised chicken. I know they raise a lot of shrimp in farms but I am sure you can find a lot of wild caught fish.
This was nice- my husband and I are talking about moving there in a few years. Can you talk about the cannabis laws and what they are changing? How will the local businesses change or respond?

Bro if I was living there I would buy a second motorcycle on Facebook like a Yamaha Aerox 150cc for under $1000 and get around cheap and easy. Great info and video! Talk about perfect timing for the ice cream guy!! Lol
