Cool, so basically it transfer the MH rig into another topology? Daz in this case.
It is possible also with other custom characters?
Yes, we've added a mesh wrap tool to help transfer the MH data to custom meshes.
How do the facial animations work? Do they just reuse the FACS morphs that come with DAZ or do you also skin the face to the metahuman face rig?
We dont save the original DAZ shapes. The Metahuman gets transferred onto the DAZ model. We transfer the metahuman skinning and we add all placeholder corrective shapes.
We could look into adding the original DAZ shapes as corrective shapes if you want to keep the original daz facial poses

I can't think of anyone else to ask this and there's literally no tutorials on how to do it. But do you know of a way to import more than one metahuman into you’re Maya scene?
I don’t mean exporting it from Quixel Bridge to Maya. I’m talking about a character you already have in the scene. What if I want another? I’ve tried exporting the mesh out and importing it back in as an FBX. But none of the head controls work when I tried it.
It’s weird there is no tutorial for how to do this.
Is this what I think? DAZ directly into a Metahuman character with all the metahuman power but a body like daz?

Thank you for your feedback. We are currently testing our tools with our beta testers and external Studios. We ran into backend license server issues which has been resolved.
