    How was this woman not in prison? Prosecutors need to really focus on crimes like this. I know lawyers have to do their job and supply a defense, but come on. I can't imagine any lawyer accepting to be her defense willingly after the kid crime. Lawyers with full-blown psychopathy probably wouldn't even defend her.

    • @bobthegoat7090
      @bobthegoat7090 7 дней назад +5

      Well she is in prison now and everybody deserves a defense lawyer because you simply can't know if they are guilty unless you also try to defend them. In a perfect system if a defense lawyer wins it just means the evidence is lacking. Unfortunately sometimes it just means a bad prosecutor or bad police work. However we can't just send people to prison based on the fact they probably did it. That can only happen in civil suits.
      Lastly never blame the defense attorney. They are just doing their job, and the better they do it the less doubt there will be if the prosecutors still wins.

    • @malic_zarith
      @malic_zarith 7 дней назад +2

      @bobthegoat7090 I don't blame the defense in the first case. When she got busted for what she did to her daughters, then I say follow some babylonian justice and just let the inmates get her. I'm mad that she dodged the chair.

    I've seen this story on a couple of true crime shows and read a biography that interviewed Teresa's daughter Terry Marie, before she died (of heart disease, only in her early 40s). She said even after everything her mother did to her, she still loved her because "She's my mom. How could I not love her?" So incredibly sad.

    When is the state going to be convicted for their part in the deaths? She shouldn't have gotten out of jail. I say the state plays a huge role in the abuse and deaths and all those on the jury and the judge have blood on their hands. Social services only remove children who are not abused because the parents don't know how to manipulate the workers and their fear of being accused is taken as proof of guilt. Social workers are some of the most evil narcissist around.
