@mintyfresh650 I have to believe that he was doing that on purpose. He said Imhotep wrong at least 30 times. There's no way somebody let him get away with that unless it was on purpose
Visited The Efteling yesterday. Poor Edna looks like a mess, her paint is peeling and her right eye is messed up. When she was properly working, she was scary as hell. She followed the trains when they passed her like she was chasing you. And when she was breathing fire you could feel the warmth on your face as your train raced by.
@@magicmyth2635 The name Edna was a working title that stuck in the Efteling fan community. Efteling doesn't use it in any publications. So it's sort of unofficial, but he's known as Edna anyway. Efteling made a short film of the background story of the ride and in this, the Dragon is not mentioned by name and is clearly a male of the species.
I almost sh*t bricks on Harry Potter's forbidden journey when the ride stopped in the dark right in front of Aragog. Ill never forget when the lights went out and I knew we were in the forest. I heard girl scream about the spiders. I hate spiders. The audio came back, stuff started to move, I opened my eyes, and BAM. Legs and lil beady eyes were staring at me. I screamed like a lil girl as my dad, mom, and poor lil random kid started laughing at me. Great ride though.
I went to this ride in USJ, it was 2017 when they have this 3d glasses for you to wear. I was like, wow they looks so real, are they really just 3d images? I took off my 3d glasses and I saw huge spider in front of me. I am afraid of bugs, and that thing scared the heck out of me. honestly, that thing is much more scary than the dragon or dementor
I had a similar experience. we had just entered the the forest and the ride stopped. we sat in the dark for a bit and I realized... Aragog was right there. Eventually they turned the work lights on and right by my left side was his big furry self. I was terrified. We sat for a while and I started to convince myself it wasn't that scary.. even kind of cute. Then the lights when back off, the ride started back, and we swung right in front of his glowing eyes were staring into my soul and his creepy legs were moving. I freaked and screamed "IT'S NOT CUTE ANYMORE"
I understand your fear, I hate spiders! I never got stuck on Forbidden Journey, but my family and I did get stuck on Gringrotts back in Springbreak of 2015 right before the first couple screens. We were stuck for about somewhere between 5 to 10 minutes. We talked to past the time, I don't remember most of the conversation but I do remember how it ended right before the ride started up again. When I went on 5 years ago I already knew that Aragog was on it so I made my mom watch the POV and tell me what part to close my eyes and then open them. I would’ve freaked out if the ride shut down right in front of it.
The presidents hall animatronics in Disney always creeped me out as a kid. Idk why we have such fears when we know they’re fake. Something terrifying we can’t explain.
Okay. Second time. Olaf, like Anna and Hans are names that are used in the Netherlands. Elsa and Kristoff not so much here, but still I could see how the film hit home with children here and I think the names are a part of it. Also: I know more Anne's here in the south. But still... They're quite common names in non-English speaking countries, people! Get it in your head! I'm not even called as you think! It's pronounced Stayvun, not Steevun! 'Cause I'm not English!
When I went on the ride with kilo ren I was blown away with how real and awesome it all was. It looks exactly what you'd imagine being on a star destroyer would be like. I did miss one animatronic from the Efteling actually. The dead from The Chinese Nightingale in the Fairytale Forest. It maybe was my biggest fear at Efteling when i was younger...
That one and draak Lichtgeraakt scared me as a kid. But it’s great to see a park as Efteling gets the attention it deserves as one of the better themed parks around Europe.
Fun Fact: The colossus animatronic is at an arcade in my local mall. It traumatised me when I was 12 and I refuse to go to that side of the arcade to this day
I work games at Kings Island and would work next to the Colossus animatronic all the time. It’s out during Haunt (the Halloween event) and Winterfest (the holiday event). During Winterfest he became “Tiny the Elf” and would tell holiday-themed jokes. I got so sick and tired of listening to him when I worked about only 10ft. away from him.
Fun fact: Alf is still in Van Helsings Factory in Movie Park, he is sitting in the crane that hangs a car above you right before the second lift hill 😅
This video is terrifyingly amazing and I love the crossover, but the Efteling show Raveleign naming their villain Count Olaf awakened my inner middleschooler that was obsessed with Lemony Snicket's books and I may or may not have laughed out loud.
As a child, I would just cry at the thought of going in het Spook Slot and would avoid it at all cost. When I became an adult and went in it, I thought it was absolutely amazing and well done. Definitely a recommendation if you ever visit De Efteling!
@@Lunar_Heart15 for what it's worth, the replacement will be called Dans Macambre, which is the name of the music that was played in the original Spookslot. So the replacement might just be a more advanced version of the old show with a different name
@@vandenmastenbroekproductio3320 just saw the footage of the upcoming replacement and from what I can see they just made it a stupid spinning ride instead of the authentic and cool show. Wish they at least made it a dark ride..
@@notsogenericstud4660 I wished they just didn't destroy it and rather build extra rides near Spookslot in the forest area. There were a lot of Spooky ideas made by Ton van de Ven for Spookslot that never got added due to budget problems. Instead of the Efteling making a horrible new ride.. They could have just added those old concepts near Spookslot to make the theme area more complete. But nooo they had to choose for a horrible replacement ride that isn't old, young, motion sick, or other physical illness people friendly and is purely made for the physical healthy trillseekers again. It's a family park.. Why did they have to do this? Sure let's fix Python, Joris en de Draak, even Flying Dutchman now, and D'Oude Tuffer, but not Spookslot because apparently it wasn't fun for this era anymore (which is a bullshit reason) and the main shows floors were 'unstable' .. If it was so unstable.. Why is there a picture of at least 30 Efteling Personnel standing inside the main show the last evening it did it's last show? I thought the reason of destroying the ride was because of "dangerous rotting floors" welp great lies Fons Jurgens. Idk what this man is doing but he's slowly destroying Efteling Heritage to become filled with ugly modern rides that ain't Efteling vibes anymore
I live in Sandusky Ohio which is directly by this Amusment Park called Cedar Point. I remember going there around Halloween when I was younger and looking at that big goblin ( 17:46 ) and being absolutely HORRIFIED- I think that thing was one of my biggest fears as a child 🤣
Im from the Netherlands, and my favourite theme park is Efteling. So when I heard you put some of their animatronics in I was like ''But they aren't that scary''. Maybe it helps that I grew up with those things, but hey that is just my opinion. The video was really fun to watch and very interesting
I love seeing European theme park attractions, although it makes me wonder what Disney Imagineers could do if they didn't have to answer to accountants and executives.
Disneyland Paris' Phantom Manor is actually a lot scarier than it's Florida based counterpart if you ask me. There's more skeletons and decomp compared to WDW. They also used to have the bride's (who's the victim in their story) skeletal remains point the way out. I remember being prett freaked out as a kid 20 years ago.
Efteling is amazing, even if you don't Dutch. They tell a good story by showing. Sprookjesbos loses some of its charm, but you know the stories. You can't miss Little Match Girl (amazing Pepper's Ghost in it), the Troll King animatronic (he talks general West-European sounds anyhow) and their Tiki Room: Indian Water Lelies. And even if I don't like flat rides: the Half Moon is the biggest Pirate Ship in the world and I
I actually live in Germany and yeah those Efteling animatronics are so impressive and terrifying. When I was younger I didn't want to ride the dueling coaster but I thankfully got to see Edna in full motion and it was so impressive. I'm so happy that Efteling gets the recognition it deserves. Also my mom got to see the Movie park ride and she really liked it. I do like Van helsing though.
Since when did Edna exist? I´ve been in Efteling in the 90th on a school trip. I remember a wooden rollercoaster like this, but I can´t remember any dragon. Did the rollercoaster exist before the dragon? Or did I really forget such an "unremarkable" thing like a firespiting dragon?

Fun Fact: The colossus animatronic is at an arcade in my local mall. It traumatised me when I was 12 and I refuse to go to that side of the arcade to this day
the first version of it is at a mini golf place I've been to!
What a spooky crossover for Halloween! Welcome to TPMFacts, Fastpass Beat
Where else should he go. His planet exloded.....No choice to go back home like E.T.
This video is terrifyingly amazing and I love the crossover, but the Efteling show Raveleign naming their villain Count Olaf awakened my inner middleschooler that was obsessed with Lemony Snicket's books and I may or may not have laughed out loud.
YES!!! My two favourite theme park channels do a crossover!
Yay me too
I hate tpm vids probably better if they collabed with theme park crazy
@@3xp3r1m3ntation tpmvids is great. Don't be rude

You mean dapper my man?!
As a child, I would just cry at the thought of going in het Spook Slot and would avoid it at all cost. When I became an adult and went in it, I thought it was absolutely amazing and well done. Definitely a recommendation if you ever visit De Efteling!
It's getting replaced in 2024, sadly!

The video was really fun to watch and very interesting
i also grew up with those animatronics and they are more awesome than scary
5:48 Reggie has left the chat sadly😔 F for Reggie
Count olaf...
When was this the series of unfortunate events?
It’s also really cool that ALF gets some representation too!
For a minute I actually thought this was TPMvids

No I dint

I love seeing European theme park attractions, although it makes me wonder what Disney Imagineers could do if they didn't have to answer to accountants and executives.
Disneyland Paris' Phantom Manor is actually a lot scarier than it's Florida based counterpart if you ask me. There's more skeletons and decomp compared to WDW. They also used to have the bride's (who's the victim in their story) skeletal remains point the way out. I remember being prett freaked out as a kid 20 years ago.
I must travel more...I want to go watch Spookslot. That entire theme park looks amazing.
And even if I don't like flat rides: the Half Moon is the biggest Pirate Ship in the world and I
Also, if something isn't clear to you: English is the international language of our country. Just ask.
hurry up if you want to visit Spookslot. it will be closed forever Summer 2022😢
too late, it's gone
"slappy the dummy"
Slappy: who you calling dummy dummy
he said Slappy was wearing a "Diaper suit" like what the hell.
Goosebumps was one of the creepiest series back in the day
R.I.P Reggie 💕
The mummy ride was awesome!! I was surprised and scared at first but it was awesome 😎
@@i.336 before this one there indeed was another rollercoaster called Pegasus, without dragon
The fact that my two favorite disney RUclipsrs did a video together it amazing.

me: has megalophobia *nervous laugh*
Rest In Peace Reggie 😭😂you like a good life my dude
I fell in love when I found this channel! I absolutely LOVE animatronics and theme parks, so I have been binge watching these videos. It also reaffirmed my decision that I want to go to Efltling!
From what I can gather the efteling is really immersive and it has stuff for all age groups to enjoy :)
Same. And my quote to Edna while fighting her is: You’re already dead. (Raises sword to dragon)
i know im late but i live in the netherlands and go to the efteling every year. i definetly reccomend it!
R.I.P. the gremlins ride
press f to pay respects
It's even scarier that Kate Bush made that video clip in Spookslot...
That's me with the Alice Cooper head on the right at 18:02 😁 Love Ed and Marsha Edmunds!
i was on the Harry ride, my eyes were open the entire time, and my sister kicked an animotronic dementor xD.
I’m loving this channel!! I’m a new subscriber 😀
Happy Halloween
Im subscribed to fastpass and TPM vids. Yall always do an amazing job on your videos
Sees new fast pass facts video about scary animatronics: “there is no way I’m letting myself be terrified for a week again”
Sees it’s a collab with TPMvids: “I mean, sleep isn’t THAT important, right?”
I gotta praise you guys and your channel. You have great content with loads of info and that's what shows how much work you put into your vids. You also have a fantastic animated intro that also seems like it took a good amount of work. You do all this with under 200k subs, which you're already past as of this comment. I truly appreciate your hard work and hopefully your channel blows up soon and you get the attention and traffic you deserve
Thank you so much! 💖🦆
It’s pronounced “Ee-mo-tep”, you’re killing me here but i love the video!
My two favourite animatronic RUclipsrs in one video that’s crazy!
7:38 The way your said “Pennywise animatronic.”
sleeping giant is really cool! i got to see it in person and i remember how insanely tall it is!
I remember the Gremling ride from my childhood. It was pretty fun.
This Video made me want to go to Efteling soon 😊
Ahh I love the pennywise on I wanna take it home 🥰
Save Edna!
Seymour Skinner: Wait. That is my friend’s name!
Sorry for the Zack Snyder jokes.
The crossover I have been waiting for
I was hoping you would eventually put in the slappy animatronic!
as a big Efteling fan i'm happy to hear that de Efteling repaired Edna!

When Efteling was mentioned I felt so smart, I know almost everything about the Efteling. My YT name is based of an dark ride from the Efteling
Same here😂 i have an subscription to efteling so i go like every month. As soon as this lockdown is over im going again!!
Omg, the Droomvlucht is such an amazing ride! Too bad De Efteling is so far away from where I live (quickest route says it's almost 250 kilometers, which is about a 2.5 hour drive).
@@Sweetie.21 Yeah. I know. As the crow flies I'm not even that far away, but: Zeeuws-Vlaanderen. Just look at a map and you know why I call going to elsewhere in the Netherlands "going in the land". We're quite a political peninsula. On the bright side, I've been there when I was young, I've been there when I was an adult... And I'll come back.
fun drinking game: take shot every time the narrator mispronounces a name or word.
Efteling sounds like an amazing theme park!
It is.
Efteling, Phantasialand and Europapark are three world class parcs that are worth a visit!
The revenge of te mummy is terrifying😳
Number one huge fan of this channel you guys are spectacular and entertaining and I admire TPM vids
Eyemotemp and Saracophagus had me wheezing 🤣
Me: goes to efteling every month
Me after watching: ohhh so thats what happend to the animatronics! I havent seen that dragon make fire in a year-
I go every month too! I knew edna wasnt being fixed tho. Its so sad to see her rot away... like, at least keep her presentable right?
The Ratched theme song at the end 🤣 i was like "wait... i know this song from somewere" and then "ahhh i remember now" 😂😂😂😂
Where’s the old phantom from the phantom manor in Disneyland Paris?
He was terrifying!
That should’ve replaced Kylo Ren
@@ThrilltimeHeadache I know right, Kylo Ren is a cool animatronic but is definitely not as scary as the old phantom.
I was so expecting him
Use fire, ice, and lightning magic against it when the colors change to red, blue or yellow! Cast stop magic to freeze the clock before your doom! Attack the phantom when it turns white!
Sally Corp has a dark ride in Thailand called “Scream in the Dark” which features a modified Slappy animatronic as one of the main characters.
the dementors should be number one on this list, they spooked me real good the first time I rode it. i screamed because I didn't expect them lol
All the animatronics save the whomping willow were pretty terrifying
Great video 🤗
