You are doing an excellent job with your RUclips videos! Beautifully shot, edited, and thorough directions. Thank you for teaching the younger generations!
I grew up in Merced California and there were small snack corner stores owned by Hmong families. They had these hot plate stations where they put out small plates with stuffed chicken wings, sticky white rice and chili dipping sauce fresh every day for $1.25. They had larger plates for $3.00 dollars. They were so delicious! I would buy 2 or 3 at a time. I'm definitely going to try this recipe. Thank you for your thorough video!
$1.25? If I put this incredible amount of labour into these delicious-looking stuffed wings, I’d be tempted to charge $5.00 each! Thanks for the video, this was fascinating.
I have a lot of great memories making this dish with my mom & Aunties. We’d spend a few hours laughing and talking. A couple of people would debone and the others would stuff the wings and cook them.
I am so thankful for this video! My coworker in the past has made these for a holiday party years ago and been thinking about remaking them but I lost the recipe. This is so helpful. Indeed is a labor of love.
I want to make these so bad, in Cambodian culture we have these as well.. but I need to wake up and have the energy and patience to make it!! Thank you for sharing, I will come back to this video when I feel like spending a day making these!
Love these stuffed chicken wings! I remembered as a young kid. My mom would make a bunch of them and freeze them up in tight ziploc bags and thaw it out to bake them. It still tastes fresh when you bake them.
@@kawshin211 you can make ahead of time and freeze it. Don't over stuff your chicken wings so when it thaws out. The chicken skin doesn't break. Good luck! Happy eating!😊
If anyone else hasn’t said it; I got an idea that I want to try to make this into sausage link too now. Just thinking outside the box. Thank you for showing us how to do. I love it and I’m gonna attempt to try to make it now too
Thanks. Studied different techniques and liked yours the best. Took me 8 hrs to do everything but bake them. I bought 27 wings and no matter how careful I was, 11 of them somehow got holes in the skin as I deboned. 30-40 % chance of breaking the skin for first time not too bad. I can see why you do these once a year. I can now add this to my list of labors of love which already include Puerto Rican pasteles and homemade kimchee. Some restaurants here in MPLS St Paul serve these. I wanted to make it at home to see how it’s done. If people love wings and egg rolls they will love this for sure.
You can also pipe the filling in with pipette bag, makes it a little easier, also an air fryer is just a convection oven with more plastic parts to impart wonderful flavors.
@@deesong6722 Making 5-10 isn't that difficult for a small family. The problem is when you have a huge family gathering you're going to need a squad of ladies and daughter to help out. It gets ridiculous if you are trying to make like 40-50. This is why Egg-Rolls are way better with huge family gathering.
@@Moe7133 I admire the women who have the patience to make these! But I’ve always bought them only. Now, maybe I will attempt to make some after this. Thank you for pointing it out!
@@deesong6722 Here’s another technique that will save your fingers when de-boning. Pat the chicken dry and use a little flour. You can rinse the flower out afterward. You can keep the flour on for extra skin crisp if you like to fry it. The best is to dip it in egg and Panko bread. If you like a healthier taste, I’d go with baking it in the Oven. You can also use shake and bake for the bread crumb look. You can still use the Panko bread too but you’ll have to cook it at a lower heat or you’ll burn the bread. Kind of like Mac and Cheese with Panko bread topping.
This is a really good tutorial video. Your stuffed chicken wings recipe is a new dish I've never seen before. I will definitely try to make this dish for my family. Thank you for sharing your recipes!
This was my best friend’s favorite. Makes me missed you so much Mai Yer. It’s been 3 years since you passed and there’s not a day I don’t think of you. Thanks for sharing this and reminding me of better days..
Awww, your tribute to your friend makes me missed my parents when I'm cooking a recipe that my parents used to make😭My dad was good at deboning chicken wings. Sorry your loss of your beloved friend Maylee.
Thank you so much for showing all of us how to safely debone chicken wings for stuffing. Chicken wings are my favorite, however, my husband will only eat the flats so I get the drum portion & the granddaughter only likes the drum if I take the bone out. I was struggling to find an easy technique to remove the bone & to then teach her to also remove the bones.
This recipe will truly test your patience, but will always be a hit! I've never tried it with white fungus, only black ear mushrooms. I will have to give it a try next time!
I made this recipe. Omg!! They were so good! You made it easy to debone the chicken wing. For my first try only had to mishaps. I have a pot luck in a couple weeks. Going to be making them again. Thank you and much love from Myrtle creek oregon ❤
I have made the full recipe yet, but I'm making these wings for the holiday and I wanted to prep the chicken ahead of time. I was able to use the scissors to debone the wings easily! I was so proud of myself. 🤣
Thank you for mentioning the name of the pepper that you are using. Usually they would just generally say “Pepper” in the recipe. But there is so many kind of peppers and not a lot are available in many places.
Thank you for your video. I finally have the courage to try and make this dish today :) It looks a bit intimidating but I'm going to try to make it, pray for me lol. Thank you again.
in Egypt, we call this the " lying pigeon" if you didn't tell your family what’s for dinner and they see this prepared from far they will think its stuffed pigeon 😆I guess this is one reason I have trust issues ...even our food be lying to us 😢 😝
I made this with my mom back in the day and i hated taking the bone out when I was a kid.. and then that was the first and last time I made it with her. Lol.. but would love to make these again.
I’ve been making stuffed chicken wings for several years now and you’re right, it is very time consuming! I do love your method! Will have to give it a try next time I make them again. I usually deep fry them, then broil on high for a bit for that crispy taste. To save time, I’m just going to bake them next time. Lol. Thank you so much! And also for your dipping sauce too! Can’t wait to try that! 😋
Wow.. i normally only want my chicken wings stuffed with chicken, but these look amazing. I don't mind the labor. Thanks for sharing your chili sauce as well. I have to try these at least once.👍🏾💞
I can picture your creation featured on a Michelin menu with three wings priced at a modest $50 US. These are gorgeous and their plumpness suggests having a napkin close for the inevitable rush of mouthwatering goodness. Easily worth the time spent in preparation. You delivered another gem! Thank you.
🤤 noms! I’ve made shrimp stuffed wings and calamari, but now I just have to try those pork wings. They do look quite amazing, thanks for sharing. If only we had smellavision! 😉✌🏼
It truly is a labor of love. If someone ever makes stuffed chicken wings for you, it means they truly love you.
This is amazing. I would never in a million years thought u can stuff chicken wings. Now I've seen it all.
You can stuffed a turtle 🐢 but it takes time
@Benjamin Owen you don’t even have a girlfriend stop lying
I thought the same🐔
You missing out try it

You can use a cake decorating bag and tip. Lots faster, that's what the fancy restaurant chiefs use. Neat recipe! Thank you!
