The cake was delivered to the rehabilitation center where it was enjoyed by my Mother and by many care-givers who care for senior citizens. Six layers of chocolate cake - I'd need two forks to eat it with! When I saw the thumbnail, I thought the cake was covered with blue fondant, and maybe the decorations were fondant as well. I'm glad it's buttercream - fondant tastes nasty and would ruin the flavor of the chocolate cake. And I've been making cakes for a long time, but I've never had enough manual dexterity to pipe all those complicated vine things. Lovely!
@@hanulhope Fondant doesn't taste very good, but it's useful for various visual effects. I have never tried to eat cake with chopsticks, although it sounds as if it would be rather messy.

You are right. Fondant taste way too sweet and i hate that.
We Korean are into buttercream.. fondant is not our thing when it comes to cake because we eat our cakes with chopsticks and not fork..
