Truly! The Wind Waker is a masterpiece, it may have took a while for people to embrace it from it's initial release 20 years ago, but its a marvelous addition to the franchise.
@robertsheinberg5052 well they did it with zelda skyward sword and other older nintendo entries, don't see why not, doesn't interfere with new entries and their direction man, they even have zelda echoes of wisdom coming which is a different style from botw, it's more of a just a matter of time thing/work required to remaster and update things and juggling other projects, but yeah now seems more likely during switch 2 gen with the system being around the corner and all, altho it could still release on og switch too if it isn't a super ambitious remaster
I'm a massive The Legend of Zelda fan, and I watch the content of this channel when it comes to cutscenes and gameplay sessions. I'm really glad The Wind Waker was covered on this channel as its one of the hallmark entries of a highly beloved and acclaimed franchise that's been going strong for 36 years now.
The preview thing that RUclips has when you hover over a video is especially hilarious for this one. Link looks so dead inside when talking to his... little sister? I don't remember.

They ported it for WiiU and did it in HD they are probably waiting for some down time or lack of game release during switch 2 era.

Amazing game. Total feast for the senses as well - so colourful and the music is incredible as always. Also love Link's facial expressions 😂
