- If you want to download files on Android TV / FireTV you used to use Puffin TV. Now it gives an error "Puffin TV Not Connecting" unless you update the browser but then you cannot download files. Tutorial on the Puffin TV Not Connecting Fix, Puffin TV Not Downloading files. I used to use Puffin TV Browser as I needed to download and sideload apps on Android TV but the latest trick that I showed you, using an older version of Puffin TV 7.7.2.30719 is not working anymore. Puffin TV was forced to disable that version so users cannot download from an internet browser on Android TV devices. There is nothing we can do about that. But the actual FIX is to use another browser which is also better than Puffin Browser!
TVBRO or TV BRO stands for TV Browser, an Android TV browser for the Nvidia Shield TV, Xiaomi Mi Box S, and also any Amazon FireTV device like the FireTVStick, FireTV Cube, etc. Other than having an awesome user interface, it allows you to download files on an Android TV device. Also, TV BRO supports voice command, allows you to select the default search engine, favorites, and a lot more features!
