With planting designed by Christopher Lloyd and landscaping by the Victorian, genius architect Edwin Lutyens the gardens at Great Dixter promise a world class display! However it has been a number of years since the death of Christopher Lloyd and so one has to ask if the magic of these two gardening titans still resonates today. To find out more English horticulturists Simon and Lorna take a trip down to East Sussex to find out for themselves.

Great vid, I hope to visit Great Dixter one day especially at high summer. Harlow Carr is very nice at the end of spring especially with all the rhodies and magnolias. I think the plants in the terracotta pots are baby's breath.

Hello Grand master mind and thanks for getting in touch. I've not been to Harlow Carr so I may have to put that one on the list. Sorry, baby's Breath is the common name for Gypsophila, but its a great suggestion.
