    This is from a time when gardens were really gardens (sorry Fergus) and not multicultural presenter driven BBC blue Peter style instant oasis's whos main interest is making money packing them in and feeding the mob. There's few gardens like this left with truly inspired gardeners on tap to show people his work. We've all been dumbed down by garden center etiquette and Chinese clothing to take any interest in growing plants.

      It is nonsense to imply that the garden has not evolved along the lines of Christopher Lloyd's ideas under Fergus Garrett's leadership. It is still trailblazing as it was then.

      xyzllii No, you need taste, knowledge and creativity. Most grand country gardens have none of these.
