I get a big charge out of people who think they own their car but yet owe on it. You don’t own that car or house until it’s 100% paid for!!! The bank owns it.
Please remember when you sign those papers at the dealership you are responsible for making payments. If you don't make the payments, They will come pick it up. It's called taking responsibility.
I never do payments higher than around 200 a month. The sales person always says everyone pays 500 to 600 a month. I guess they get a lot of people to think crazy high payments are normal.
Instead of wasting energy to keep one step ahead of the repo guy, try putting that energy into finding a job so you can pay your bills like real adults do

Reminds me of years ago my friend who is in the towing & repo business was telling me that he was trying to repo a jacked up pimped out navigator & a Benz G wagon that couldn't be accessed thru the front street or driveway .....well he didn't know I had access to the adjacent rear facing property as I know the owner real well ,.....well he left me a envelope & I left him the keys to the property, & I had removed the rear fence post 🤣 he ended up getting 5 repos out of that place ,mostly high end European vehicles that they was hiding back there ,most had fake paper temporarily plates on them too ,they should have just left the Stinkin Lincoln out on the streets instead of lose them all
I worked with 2 different repo companies, it's not an easy job, well it depends on what kind of repo and what you got to look for if the account holder for the repo is vilant , like I said it's not easy lol

Man I would love to of had a truck like that when I was doing repos, I had the boom and control box and all, difference is, I had a hugh T444E. Massive truck, kinda difficult to get into some spots for a pick up. But managed to take control bout 98% of the time. Fun job, adrenaline rush, but very dangerous job, kinda like jumping from a plane, most jumps go smooth, but sometimes the lines get tangled, but only takes once for the chute to not open and that's when things take a sharp left when you wanted to go right. You guys out there still doing the snatch and go and drive it like you stole it job, you guys stay safe and no matter you like or want to or not, try to take you a spotter to help out with watching your six, cause like I said, it only takes one time for your chute to not open and nobody don't wanna think about the thought of not making it home after a jump, but unfortunately some don't make it back home because there's that one jackass that still thinks the car is his and wants it back, but until that car is paid for, it still belongs to the bank or the dealership., Even someone that's paid up on payments, that car still isn't yours. But like I said guts and gals, stay safe out there and take it when you see it cause if you turn your head fir just a sec and that car drives off, you may never see it again lol. I would bet you get a lot of flak but I can tell you don't take it personally and although the people you do have to repo from I would think about it after you leave how professional you were and judging them it's not like they are not expecting it you don't pay the bill well they want their car back and your doing the job you were hired to do. And you have a good demeanor it showed how you interacted with the children at the trailer park and I picked up on one thing also others may not have spotted. But when you spoke with the children you didn't say why you were taking the car you politely asked if the mom was home. And that was cool because you had forethought that the children didn't need to know the reason for you towing the car. Very professional.

This is why I pay all cash for my vehicles. Because who really knows what you'll be doing five or six years (i.e. 60 or 72 months) down the road??? So many things can change in a person's life during that time. Dealerships could care less about you when they think they can make a quick sale.
