I did a full timing job on a 2004 F150 FX4 w/5.4 with new phasers, vct solenoids & spark plugs & now I’m getting P2195 & P2197 codes. No vacuum leaks & truck had zero issues other than noisy chain slap against timing cover from a broken guide. I’m at a loss
I have same numbers. cylinder 4&6 not working, sensor or clogged manifold like my catalyzer? Or computer? What did you find out?
I'd make sure your cats are good and in check. It will throw these codes if your cats are bad. 1 way to solve this is picking up a spark plug non fowler from auto zone, they are like $8. It will clear the code if it's the cats
Great video. very informative a lot said in a nutshell ! A bit fast so i had to slow it down to gather it all. It helped me because i had random code problem with 11 codes. 6 were misfires plus P0171 P0174 P002 P0021 P0022. Yet this code was the highest and seems the most stimatic based on your info. Now i need to check into them using a first"most method hoping that where i choose to began will be the direct culprit and avoid the jack rippers.... thanks so much!

I got code P2195 & P2197, #4 & 6 Cylinders not working, clogged inside manifold or just those 2 top front sensors? Parts dont know which ones, says 4 on my ford escape 2001 V6.
could a intermate failing TPS cause the p2195?
It may be possible, but usually, that would cause a lean condition for the whole engine (both banks). Also, there likely would be a TPS sensor code.
@@HVAC_Mechanic only one bank, 2.3l ford ranger (2010). Bringing the truck back from sitting for a few years. MAF, MAP, fuel pump, fuel filter, Cat, PCV, and cleaned the fuel lines up to the fuel rail. hoping not to have to take the injectors and rails apart. the only code I have left is the p2195 (intermate not all the time). The truck also losses acceleration sometimes, had the transmission checked and it passed a transmission shop check. No vacuum leaks that I can find, and when it is good it is really good and strong.

Can faulty purge valve cause a P2195
Usually, a faulty stuck open purge valve would cause a rich condition.
Strangely enough changing my purge valve took my P2195 code away
I must have had a 1 off case
When my P1450 went away, so did my P2196
