    I'd like to hear her talk about how to eat daily as a BC survivor...how much turmeric? how much broccoli sprouts? how much flax seeds? etc...

    Question at beginning was what if you’re doing everything “right” but still get cancer? There is also mental stress and that can manifest into physical problems. Never underestimate the burden that chronic anger, resentment, jealousy, etc has on the body over time. I had a relative who supposedly did everything right (wasn’t plant based), but she harbored a lot of resentment towards her parents and then from like late teens she had fears of getting cancer later on. It all manifested over time in a very negative way. Your mental trauma can trump all your other efforts to be healthy.

      Of course, I think that’s a given, but it really needs to be highlighted. Our emotions create changes in our horror. Moans and cortisol levels in overtime can definitely create disease.

      @@YogaBlissDance If there are people you haven’t forgiven, or even if you yourself haven’t forgiven yourself for something, it’s all adding up inside of you. So you can be vegan, and exercise, but the mind is very powerful.

    This was so interesting and very timely as I'm scheduled for a biopsy on Wednesday to check out a mass on my breast. I'm sure it's nothing but I can't help but think "what if it's not nothing" and this has really been very informative. I wish Dr Funk was my doctor!

      @misswellness9595 thank you for asking. The biopsy was fine, but not fun. I have a fibroadenoma, which is a benign tumor aggravated by hormones. I'll have another ultrasound in 6 months

      Right out of the gate and this interview one has to ask the question why are we seeing more and more breast cancers and at an earlier age could it possibly be due to the excessive amount of screening mammograms?

    No one talked about any diet info during or after chemo. They offered junk food during chemo. It is also hard to think clearly and they know that but didn't help with that at all. I feel like I was used as a paycheck for many people while my life kept getting worse.

    • @curcumin417
      @curcumin417 9 месяцев назад

      Big pharma won't fund RCT dietary studies as there's no $$ payback for them. Worth doing however, maybe NIH admins and Congress should take a break funding Pfizer and Moderna for a minute using our tax-dollars and actually represent We the People.

    FAST & EXERCISE all during chemo - I hope I never have to endure that. I get a little dizzy when I exercise fasted, couldn't imagine being fasted while doing chemo which makes you feel sick anyways and then still trying to exercise.

    i have just reduced meat and maybe once a week just have organic meat and my vitamin b12 has got low. most of the vegan products (like plant based milks) are full of artificial and dangerous stuff that is why I think eating moderate/ limited organic animal products is not a bad thing.

      Take a supplement like most meat eaters need to. The animals are given the supplement as well

    Holistic Medicine all the way, yes we do need our Doctors because we can’t diagnose ourselves, we also need to know our blood work results. Another thing people need to know, we need to clean our systems. We are eating 365 days of the yr. our blood gets corroded so even if we are eating right, we should clean our system. If we have our vehicles & don’t change the oil that oil will get so thick, then what? that vehicle bound to have problems. We should clean our bodies every 2 to 3 months & if we can’t do that then we should do it at least twice a yr. One would ask how do we clean our system? Find a good Herbalist & ask the question, or may be find a health food store. Let our food be thy medicine & our medicine be our food
