I’ve checked the settings and I use the mic from my controller. And it isn’t working. I don’t know if my kids did something to it but it doesn’t want to work. I can hear the players but they can’t hear me.

I bought a new controller for my ps5(i only use the mic inside my controller no headphones if that helps)It will work when I first join a party but then I will cut out and my teammates can't hear me but I can still them...I'll reset my controller then it will work again for a couple of mins then cut back out...I don't know what to do..somebody please help I'm going crazy ..its a brand new controller lol

@@dmahryaalisha8081 I went to every setting for sound I could find and reset all of them even in game too hopefully it can help you also after you might wanna turn off and on the ps5 also

Si in my case the mic cuts out randomly, headset or controller mic, doesn’t matter it just cuts out, I can hear peaple but they can’t hear me

This must be some sort of software glitch or sum bc i just bought my playstation and same thing is happening to me
Edit: found a fix i think, try turning the controller off and back on i dont know why i didn’t try this b4 but it worked for me

That was happening for me too, like even when I listened back to the recordings, I just used a pin and a q tip and cleaned both parts out like he said and it worked like a charm

ibrarali3974 Bro, Check if your Headset has 2 headphone jacks one for Mic and headphone, in that case you need to insert both jacks, otherwise Mic won’t work.☺️

itizdark990 Bro, If the Microphone Level is greyed out then your Mic might not be connected properly. You need to make sure the Microphone is connected to PS5 properly.☺️

Yeah so I read through a bunch of this nonsense... My mic was not working.... Here is the fix on the back of the controller it says Sony and has a r with a circle around it right behind that is a little hole push a toothpick or a clothespin down into it and press the reset button this will fix your mic immediately!!!!! Happy gaming!!!!

@@Fix.369some of the crazy fixes people had posted.... One guy said to jam a toothpick into the microphone Jack and then Hammer that in a bit with the back of your phone.... Or the nonfiction just go buy this microphone and it works so much better.... The question was how do I fix controller mic..... Not what should I go buy because of my controller mic is not working...lol
