- Do you want to know how to fix your Microphone not working on your PS5. In this video, I am going to show you the common reasons when your MIC is not working and why there is no audio coming through your PS5 headset! In this video, I am using the Turtle Beach stealth 700. First thing to do is reset everything and unplug the power cord from your TV and PS5. Then make sure its not muted! Then make sure your output and input on your PS5 settings is selected to your headphone and mic. Also, I'll be going over things like how to make your party chat or game sound louder! whenever I plug in my headset it doesn’t show on the output device or mic, it’s a Turtle Beach Recon 70 and I don’t know what’s going on.
I did use my gaming headset for my ps5 is turtle beach headset not let me talk to no one on the game I try I need help please

Had two headsets, one was an older one, was working fine, went and got food, came back and the right earphone had no sound. So switched to the newer one, worked fine for a while, was in a party with my brother, he left for a few hours then came back and all of a sudden the mic stopped working. The second headset has only about a month worth of use. The one with no sound the mic works, the other has sound and mic doesnt work. Any ideas?

I watched your video and my problem is I have turtle beach 600 and they work perfect in the party chat but when we go too the game and play in game mode I can hear everyone but no one can hear me. When I go to mic setting, it’s not recognizing my headphones, and only gives the remote control option to select. But I can hear Fortnite playing in headset
My mic can’t hear anything unless unplug it halfway in my controller but still I can’t use it
What do I do if my mic just randomly muted itself like it doesn’t mute the mic on the ps5 and I don’t manually mute my mic on my headset it just doesn’t work after a while at randomly and I have to disconnect the usb and plug it back in every time

My problem is that I speak and only I can hear me. My microphone ques on screen like I'm talking and I can hear myself reverberate in my headset so the mic is picking up sound, its just not making it into the game.

@@codymay5301 That should be as easy as going into setting and adjusting your microphone volume.
This doesn’t work with the the PS4 wireless headphones when their plugged into the remote

I’m honestly having the exact same problem. Tried two separate headsets and literally none of their mics are registering. It’s only the controller microphone that works. If I mute my controller and have my headset unmuted it won’t recognise my voice at all

Have you tried going into the PS5 settings, go to sound and then microphone. Change microphone status when logged in to mute. It worked for me, cut out the noise on the controller mic but I wasn’t muted on the headset

Thumbs up and great video but sadly my hunt continues. I have the ps pulse 3d on the ps5 and multi-player voice chat will not work. Not in a party chat, mic works fine on level tests. Checked all of my settings with yours. I'm lost. It has to be a setting but I can't find anything on the headset or the ps5.

I just got a ps5 for Christmas I can hear from the headset but the mic does not work. To have my mic work I have to have the mic flicked down on my headset and the mic on the controller on it work but if I turn either one off the other mic that is still on does not work... I am sorry if that all sounds confusing ...
I don’t know if this fix will work for you. Go onto Ps5 sound settings, then microphone and change the microphone status when logged in to mute.

@@kuja5809I’m so tired of PlayStation. Every wired headset I use always has this buzzing sound whenever my mic is on. When I play games with my friend, they always tell me to turn my mic on that it’s making the buzzing noise. IDK what causes this. I’ve changed 3 different headsets and it’s still thesame. Although I haven’t tried wireless headsets yet. I plug the 3.5MM jack directly to my controller. Is there any way to fix this? What causes this?

Okay I got all this. So simple. Got it. What if your usb is plugged in. Your head set is connected to the usb. But the ps5 only has HDMI output option, and that’s it. No usb headset option, I’ve tried it all, brand new RIG headset and it won’t work. It’s for os5 as well
