So, a question? The PDF showing the offerings on new cabin layouts on 777 300er does not show a large section with these suites. In terms of seat manufacturers, looks like PE’s using the Recaro CL4710 and Safran Z600 for the A321XLR and 789P respectively, while MC/MCE’s using Collins seats for both ✈️’s (Meridian and Aspire for the A21XLR and 789P respectively). Heard about the 789P’s debut being postponed due to delivery delays from Boeing. 1 thing to improve the 789P in the meantime is to increase the number of MCE seats to have a proper MCE section (MCE in just the bulkhead and exit rows doesn’t make it a proper extra legroom section). I saw the 789Ps LOPA on AeroLOPA and I have an idea that may work. If you move row 20’s seats forward 8-12” and the A-C and J-L seats in row 21 forward 4-6” (row 20 and the aforementioned row 21 seats are bulkhead seats) you may be able to add 4-6” more pitch for row 22 and seats 21D-H for a Main Cabin Extra mini cabin on the 789Ps while retaining its total seat count across all cabins (and also as a nod to MCE’s early days on the 767 and the 773s). It could also generate more seat revenue and make the 789P more premium without having to lower the seat count as you already charge a fee for MCE. I’m thinking minimum 35-36” pitch for seats 22A-C and J-L and possibly 37” for D-H seats in rows 21 and 22. Just make sure the bulkhead and exit rows still have at least 6” more pitch than the standard main cabin seats for this to work.

I think the service is more or less hampered by what's allowed in terms of dining accommodation.
I was on UA Polaris and was hungry mid-flight. I asked what snacks were available and they basically said, "we have some chips and those little cookies." I don't blame the air staff by any means. I believe that they're simply trying to do the best they can with what they have on hand.
Mainline narrow body economy in the 737-800 will still be painful
Well we enjoyed the small PE cabin on the 787-8 and -9 DFW-CDG-DFW in March. Maybe when we go to Tokyo, this will be available.
I am obsessed

All they need now is attitudes and service levels to match.
If only these Main Cabin seats would be outfitted on the ENTIRE fleet and they brought back the seatback screens...
Question is, will all the doors, panels and other various parts start on the plan during flight?
Wow, this looks great!
Smart move choosing Airbus 😎Plus your stock on the low. ALL IN
Ok out of topic but I only flew with American Airlines 2 times From JFK -> MIA -> QUI
And not about the seats but whenever you fly American get the biscuits. They ascended me to heaven.
Beautiful America !
The return of light blue to the brand palette... Nice...
So how much pitch did you sacrifice in main cabin on the 321 to make room for flagship first?
Looks great. I think I'd like the privacy of the FB doors, maybe it'd cut down on a little of the noise and exposure and make it easier to sleep. :) I'm not a pretty sleeper, as evidenced by my FB insomniac trip from Texas to Rome.
I wonder what seat manufacturer are they going to use? To me it looks like a Rockwell Collins Aerospace elements or Adient Ascent like HA B787-9. I wonder if EWR-DFW will get A321-251xlr if it does UA will respond with their own A321-271 XLRs. Oddly enough Taiwanese AA crew will start to compare this to CX Aria Suites.
Looks like the A321 is Collins Aerospace you're correct. Well spotted.
@AviationAustin One reason for it is that there are East Asian airlines that uses them too. 2:16 AA new F seat. Therefore configuration is F4 36J.
This looks incredible...when will these be available? Which routes?
Fantastic remodeling!
All these changes won't make the flights any more likely to leave on time
Elegant design excellent
Une très belle évolution des cabines intérieurs
Finally, something good from American
