Just want to let anyone, who is in the middle of sciatica pain, it is not forever. I suffered with it for about 2 yeas. Tried chiropractors. Got better than came back usual story..I started to listen to these guys and constantly stayed with the press ups, using a belt to keep pelvic down has helped immensely and falling asleep on belly helped me. Keep at it, be patient and hopeful ull get through it I know your pain and frustration trust me you will get through it.

I’ve been bed bound for almost 4 day, in AGONIZING PAIN! I even asked the lord to end it all at one point. I’ve been scared to walk because I couldn’t think straight for atleast an hour afterwards. Even while being still the pain never went away. I did the knee to chest stretch a few times, and I actually just walked to the bathroom without moaning groaning or causing more pain. IM SITTING UP SMILING WHILE writing this comment! Thank you so very much! God bless you two, for all of your help! I guess it’s my Piriformis. A lot of my limitations make sense, now that I’m aware.

The following day I then got severe L3 pain and have hardly been able to walk after sitting UNTIL I just came across this video. I can not thank you enough!! If you, sneeze or cough, you might feel a little part in your glutes area where your sciatica pain is… This happens with me on may be the third or fourth day… And when this happens, it relieves all of the pain/pressure. Not easy to do, but it will happen if most of your sciatica pain is up in your glutes area. Try doing it… Or even try sneezing after a few days. Be careful with going with strictly heat, switch it up with also ice… Bio, freeze, etc. Epson salt baths are very good for those of you are struggling.

I tried staying active with things like swimming and taking walks and avoiding sitting for too long. Nothing was working. I finally saw one of your videos about how to sleep with a herniated disc and I tried the position with the two pillows under the feet with the legs bent at the knee and stacked on top of each other. I did this for 3 nights straight and now it no longer hurts to walk or sit or stand up. Feels amazing. Big thanks to you guys

Sciatica is a pain that makes your life hard, it has no mercy. If you have it , do yourself a favour eat proper food . Bad food will inflame more and aggrevate your pain. Sciatica is not life threatening, your disc will slide back in after the inflammation goes down. Depending on your situation. Chiropractor visits and turmeric will help you get through. Just remember your not on your own, be positive and remember it’s not forever. For everyone with bad pain try a Epsom salt bath for 20 minuets, do that 3 times a week it work for me , I sleep better now . Good luck 😉 guys

I suffered yrs ago and learned a really good trick to calm the nerve & pain. Lay flat on your back on the floor. Raise 1 leg at a time about 6'' of the floor and hold it there for 5 seconds. lower it and do same for other leg. each time you raise the leg hold it there longer each time. As you keep doing this raise your leg a few inches higher each time and hold it. At first it hurts like a sob, breathe thru it and continue this for 10 min. You'll be shocked at how fast the pain subsides. When you do this your moving muscles you don't use or exercise often. There were times when I literally had to roll off the couch bcz I couldn't sit or barely stand. place a blanket or rug under you when you do those exercises. Hope this helps you like it did me.

Thank you so much. I've watched this video twice before and I wasn't sure what I have.... I went to Physical therapy thru said it is my Piriformis Muscle but the exercises I was given were not helping. This last week I started feeling lowe back pain which I has not felt until this week and I had this pain since the first week of April I thought it was because I had my baby and i had an epidural that it made me have a hernia in my disk but the I remembered I fell really bad two weeks after I had my baby. Anyhow I have had so much pain these last three days that none of the exercises i was doing was helping such as the 4 exercise. Until now that I have done the exercises for the hernia disk and it worked instantly so I am now 100% sure it is a hernia disk and not the piriformis muscle. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart and I will donate to you guys because you have helped me more watching your videos then anyone I've seen in person. I thought I had a kidney infection and now I know.... I did the exercises and the relief was instantly so thank you. My L5 was bothering me so badly because it is constant pain vs my butt pain that is only when I seat and get up (which is not often) but my L5 is constant pain when I do feel that pain. They said it was my piriformis Muscle because I am able to do a lot of things that otherwise i would not be able to do.... but I am going to have them look into a possible herniated disk. The physical therapist was so impressed that I knew so much and I told them it was because i watched your videos. So thank you again Doctors 🙏

I recently gained some weight and noticed my sciatica getting so bad. Now keep in mind I was a PT patient, I've had surgery, I know the ropes and how to tend to these issues. But as of late there is no relief. Even though I had PT nobody ever explained how my body works as well as you guys do. Its one thing to show me an excersise or two but knowing where the pain is coming from changed my life. You just relieved 10 days worth of constant burning pain.

Almost two years ago I was diagnosed with a bulging disc. I think it's l4 or 5. Can't be sure because the doctor did absolutely nothing. Not another word and I assumed I was just getting older. Now with Bob and Brad I find out that I could have had an x-ray or MRI or physical therapy, or at least done in-home exercises. I didn't ask about pain meds and he didn't offer so I've been suffering. For two years I've sat 98% of my day on the sofa because my back was so bad. Now I've gained weight and lost endurance. But with Bob and Brad's help, the sciatica nighttime attacks are lessening so I have more energy and I'm doing their back exercises. I'm ready to start doing my own grocery shopping again...if the world would just get out of my way. I'm also riding my bicycle outdoors almost daily. Not long...but it's a start. Thanks, Bob and Brad.

Love this. I'm in the same boat the pain just started couple weeks ago. Ice helps my pain a lot in my right leg. I feel my right buttock go numb and have feeling of burning sensation on the right side of upper thigh and then maybe some burning again on front of shin or my calf. Ice helps it so much. I had a bad car accident but my life choices of sitting on couch bad posture playing video games and smoking weed regularly for last 2 months has brought this on. I'm glad I found this video I had an episode and lied down on my front and did the press ups he shows in the video and it helped straight away.
I'm scared of going to the doctors due to corona virus. Living with anxiety and depression also doesn't help.
I'm scared that it will result in swelling which could be permanent. I pray the Almighty helps me and everyone who has this issue. P&L

I was told that the more the nerve is pinched the further down you will feel the pain. The Dr. explained it as a nerve column in the spine that branches out. An area just below the pinched nerve shows a slight pinch, but pain down to the ankle would be a severe pinch right to the center of the nerve column.

If I do certain exercises like the stretch for scoliosis and the cat cow they relieve it - not for long but they do. Basically the pain is there always, except whe i sleep or recline in a chair, or do gardening!

This is a helpful video! The pain is in both legs but also in the front of my right leg a nerve that is very sensitive!! When I lift my right leg up and prop it up on the other knee to put my socks on I feel a tinge of pain too! I am over weight and the pain in my legs keeps me from exercising, hence more pain. My legs feel stiff when I stand after sitting and I walk almost with a limp or waddle. The grocery cart syndrome makes perfect sense to me, because I grab one even if I’m only picking up a few items just for the support the cart gives. I will try the roll, and bringing my knees up to my chest. Thanks again! I’m a bank teller, and stand for long periods of time. When I sit on the stool I’m sure my posture is terrible! Any advice regarding my job and relief of my pain there would be appreciated??? Thank you!

Bob & Brad. I had an MRI done mid Dec of 2022. The said I have issues with T11, T12, L3, L4, L5, & S1. They said I have Stenosis, bulging disc, narrowing of the spinal canal and arthritis. I'm on my 2nd stint with this sciatica/disc mess. First time it happened was mid Oct and I was in agony. It did go away for the most part, but still had calf pain. It is all in my right leg. The Prednisone pack worked great the first time, but didn't touch this time. My ankle and my foot gets really cold (maybe not so much on the outside [I do have a pic documenting that it was way colder than my left and temp wouldn't register-just said Low], but the inside it always feels colder on the inside. Anyhow. The pain (it is actually more of pain, burning, itching, numb sort of feeling-all at once) starts about 2 fingers to the right of the crack of my butt (don't know how to put it more delicately), goes up and over to the right side of butt. From there it goes to the right side of my thigh (and here recently. It feels like its around my bone that goes down the front of my thigh as well), and goes down the outside of my right thigh (the area where my butt and thigh meet is super painful and is generally one of the worst spots. It hits just below my right knee on the inside, a bit bigger than an egg in diameter) and then is back down the back of my right calf (and is always super sore) and down into the right side of my foot. The first time it felt like someone had tied a string around my 2 little toes real tight and they both felt numb (the little one was the worse and the numbest), and was always cold, but a blanket on them felt like my foot was on fire. So after about 3 weeks to a month, it did finally go nearly away, still had calf pain and was sore. Then I got Flu A. Then on Jan 2 of 2023, it happened again. This time nothing is helping much. Pain is still in the same areas (2nd pinky toes isn't nearly as bad), pinky to is still bad, calf is still bad, knee gets bad and eases off, right leg/thigh and all that is the same. Took the Prednisone pack, didn't seem to help much. Took Methocarbamol and that seemed to help out some and then got put on 300mg Gabapentin 3x a day. Still have pain. Feels like cups of Jello pudding in my lower back (right were you would back up again the bar on a door to get out. I'm 5'5" for height reference. Was 5'7" but lost 2" due to discs in back (L5 originally), and C3-C6 in my neck. I can only sleep on my left side (and it's getting really tired (and sore) of it as well.). I can sleep with my legs crossed (right leg on the outside) and leaned over onto 3 pillows. With first time, I could only sleep sitting nearly straight up or on my exercise ball leaned over a chair with my pillow in a triangle shape. Now I just have trouble no matter what. There is a constant burning (sometimes very sharp) case of fire bubbles that run down my leg, no matter what I do, how I lay or sit. Suggestions?
