everyone whos having a problem! Fix! My room mate took the whole pole down without loosening. It was a complete night mare Just take a hair dryer and heat it up until the metal expands. It will work even for the tightest joint.
Currently using the hair dryer,hoping ot works :(
I Did it :) I hammered the the little tool ( I forgot the name) in the direction to unscrew and lo and behold it worked..finally got it up again lol

@@anarosales7703 the pole was taken down but wouldn't come apart. I tried heating it at the joint but that didn't help. I put the allen key(duno American term but its the small tool that comes with the pole) i put it in one of the holes , and in the direction to loosen it i wacked the hammer onit afew times and it finally came apart. I literally had it together for like 8 years and was about to give up and chuck it.

I see a much smaller looking adapter that doesn't have holes in It. It was on the bottom base of mine when I took the pole down, so I think I'm missing the one thats needed for the top ??

If my ceiling is a bit small in height can I just exempt the main pole and just use pole A? Or is it only safe to use the main pole and pole A(the pole with the iron nut.)?
Hi Kaziah, the main poles are required. Main pole A and B. The only parts that are optional are the extensions.

my base has a pin like your top pole and I am not sure how to fit the rest on it, I have two Adaptor a small and a bigger one, but the b are has a pin attached to it not like yours looks like something like the pole Thanks please help

I love this pole!! But I moved and my nose ceiling is taller. So I need to add an extension... but my pole will NOT UNSCREW!!!! For me to add the extension. I’m so sad! I love this pole! How did you get the pole to fit so perfectly to the wall.. I feel like I’ve done every option of big extensions and No extensions and it’s all either too long or too short. I’m very confused
A little late but i was asking this too (for future viewers). The top piece is an adjuster for height. I thought my pole was too small but the adjuster (black piece) can be extended by unscrewing it out of the pole (with the adjuster tool - long silver thing). Do it with the top piece on. Hope this helps 😊

Help!!! My black center pole did not come inserted inside of pole A. When I insert it and try to screw it up it doesn't come up enough it just get stuck. I tried to screw it in from both endswith no success 😩😩😩

Can someone help please? I have removed the expansion cover and loosened up the flange nut but when I use the long key stick In the black expander to untwist it won’t budge. The key is literally bending Instead and the black expander is not moving at all 🤦🏽♀️ Will the blow dryer trick work for this or what can I do ?

I brought my pole years ago, moved house and when i moved i couldn't take the pole apart to adjust to a shorter ceiling. Im at that point were im thinking to bin it but to only buy a different brand thats not sooo hard to take apart. Please help, tried unscrewing, hair dryer trickz nothing, pole will not come apart.

The video is Very Helpful Thankyou .. But "IM NOT ABLE TO TAKE IT DOWN Because the iron rod will not twist or unscrew back down from the dome, witch is super tight into my ceiling.. It may have even put a hole into it, but I can't tell because it's that tight on the ceiling. And will not unscrew???

Latoya Mayo you have to move the nut up before the threaded rod will go down as the nut is there to prevent it unscrewing. Use the spanner big end for the nut and small end slides into notch at top of rid.
You can always hit the spanner with a hammer anticlockwise for the nut and clockwise for the rod.
Mine is X pole X Titanium tho so maybe slightly different.

What’s the last metal piece for?
my problem is the black extender pole that comes in pole A. I turned it anti clockwise, but the black pole fell through the bottom. I cannot pull it/screw it back through pole A. Do I need to purchase a new one because right now my pole is useless.

Please try to screw back clockwise, if not , may be the thread was hit when fell down, you can check if its surface lose the shape, use a file and adjust it. If all of them not work, you can ask for a replacement. Thank you

Hi! Does anybody know why my pole keeps making thud noises everytime I’m on it. especially on spin mode it makes this noise as if it’s too tight or the long bar from inside is old
I can’t say for sure but something similar happens to me when my pole needs to be loosened and retightened using the top parts near the ceiling

So I couldn’t figure it out but I just added like sticky plastic to the bottom and top and it pretty much keeps it still !

Hello how do you unattach the 267 mm attachment from the pole
I was putting up my pole and when I adjusted it to the ceiling it was not spinning freely. So I began to loosen It and when I did the pole cover fell onto the small extension and now they're stuck together. How do I solve the pole spinning freely and unsticking the cover from the small extension? I was so close I just want to cry. Please help me....😊.
Did you take the 2 small pins out the bottom of the pole for it to spin freely
It was probably not spinning freely because it was not leveled.. mine started skipping when it got tilted from the 90 degree position
I am having this same issue. I ended up moving so I took the pole down. When I put it back up I’m going to try your tips but I think I tried everything. Im starting to wonder if it won’t spin due to the fact it’s in carpet???
I have one and cant take it down and the house I was renting sold and new owners took over 3 days ago and If icant get it down today i could be liable for removal charges.

You start at the top unclip the cover and then screw the nut up by turning anti clockwise whilst using the small spanner end to turn the threaded part clock wise this will shorten enough to get it horizontal on floor then just put in car thru boot in between the seats into the front foot well if can't undo the middle.
But you don't attempt to undo the middle until the pole is horizontal.

I am trying to take my pole down. The black rod is almost impossible to turn. I am damaging my ceiling. The entore pole is spinning when enough force is applied..the sections are no longer flush together

So sorry to hear that! Not quite sure on how tall your ceilings are but we recently have a taller version available that can go up to 12FT in height! Of course you can still add some extenders if it is not enough :)
