😲Radio is better than tv. There., I said it. And I'll keep on saying it. Dont care what/how others think about MY taste. I listen alone usually anyway...❤ These are fabulous!
I’m 16 and it’s 2020 and now all I listen to are these old radio mysteries like Suspense, Mystery Theater, The Whistler, and all the others, I’m so glad we still have the ability to listen to these and thank u for posting 😁
I use these stories to go walking miles and miles. Works perfect! Down in the deep dark woods, hear a rustle in the woods at the same time a woman screams on the radio show! Lol. Good times, good times.
@@jessevillalin4966 nothing to fear in the woods or the dark. You should try it. Peaceful. Comforting. And it's "lying" for your next troll of a comment that has absolutely nothing to do with you.
It was great to relive all those memories. The OTR revival movement in the 70"s was awesome, because a lot of the original OTR stars were still around and lent their talent to the show.
Lisa Schraer , OTR died in the 70's. There has been no come back. But Sirius radio and recordings as well as here, we can again enjoy a good story told.
Ah Brewbaker, read her comment more closely. The revival of interest she's referring was in the 1970's. As she said, many of the veterans of the golden age of radio were still living, e.g., Agnes Moorehead, and were available to lend their talent to "CBS Radio Mystery Theater."

And when I got my first job in 1985 it was 3.25 and today it's just over $7.00. Inflation is way outbeating the pay grades. I remember when gas went up to .99 cents I had a heart attack. Now look at it....I may be going on 46 but I can remember when cigs were .60 cents.

Who knows what better grades I would have made in high school if I wasn't staying up late listening to Radio Mystery Theater with a little radio in my bed...
With all of the zombie mania in the last decade, which shows no signs of abating, this turns out to be well ahead of its time, even if it isn't completely consistent with the rules about zombies that have evolved since then. Salt is for slugs, not zombies.

misharyutubbee, Mr. too. Drove my parents crazy.
To listen the grocers commercial, 3 loves of bread for $1.00 and a dozen eggs under .70 too funny.
The “Shop Right” commercial’s upbeat song is hilarious against the unchanging thumbnail.
Here from the great state of Indiana 11\19\2022🌚
Back in the good ole days, when you could fly under an assumed name, AND carry a gun! LOL! John V. Karavitis

What glorious days in 1974….my younger sister and pest wasn’t born yet and I had my parents all to myself😂😂
Silly stuff
The commercials!?!? WHY!? The hate this channel
You can find these episodes without commercials on RUclips. Some of us like hearing these old commercials. It's fun.
It’s a blessing to just have all these radio shows, why complain when u can enjoy or just skip them?
Why listen .
