I've been watching for a while. You need to expand your fly fishing by learning the hatch in your area and matching it. You'll draw a lot more people who are avid trout fishers to the channel.

Learning the hatch is definitely something I’m actively trying to learn. Thanks man for the critique!

When fly fishing use your wrist to cast 95% practice 10 to 2pm casting in your yard with no fly but with your leader same with roll casting

Dude, great video as always!🎣⛰️ You caught some beauties. I think I know this particular creek and there are some beautiful trout there. When I get all my crops planted (June) I'm headed over to the Eastern's, can't wait! Thank you for the videos, Good Luck👍

Let's Go! :) your attitude and love of the outdoors and fishing / hunting is so infectious. i know i have said that before. But, watching a new "Micah Video" is so inspiring for me. next time: dry flies. and i might add that you are no longer a beginner fly fisherman. anyone who can effectively cast a 7 foot backpacking rod, which is really really hard to load, and almost equally as hard to roll cast, is not a beginner. my prediction is that by spring of next year your spinning rods will be gathering dust.

ML Knives (link below)! Tell him Until Journey's End sent you. You can have him make it custom to order. It's an excellent field knife. And fun fact...he made the knives for the movie The Revenant!
