    • @LoLife.Outdoors
      @LoLife.Outdoors  7 дней назад

      Yes, anytime you disperse camp (backpacking) you need to obtain a wilderness permit.

    Man that looks awesome! I’ve been searching for a good spot that I can backpack to camp and do some fishing.. I’ve done quite a few spots in the bishop area do you have any recommendations?

    • @LoLife.Outdoors
      @LoLife.Outdoors  7 дней назад

      Yes, there are many places, my personal favorite place of all time is Yosemite, but it is hard to get a permit for places inside the park, they run through a lottery system. My second favorite is desolation wilderness its near tahoe. there are places near bishop, on the Jon Muir Trail that you can section hike, i Thru-hiked it back in 2022, my favorite places are Thousand island lakes and Rae Lakes.

      @@LoLife.Outdoors how is the fishing at those spots in the sierras? Ive tried 2 years in a row for the lottery with no luck. I’ve done little lakes valley and or gem lakes can’t remember lol north fork trail and a few other little spots in John Muir but really trying to put this ultra light rod to work! Somewhere that isn’t as pressured and forces people to actually hike a ways to get there

      @@ChristiannTyler its amazing i was catching them with a red spinner, red tends to be the color that fish eat or attack the most. if you can try my technique, i havent skunked ever since.

      Good idea, but in my opinion i love to show people new places and things to do, especially in the backpacking community, there's more than enough places to go out there. thanks for viewing.

      It's in yose. It's already blown up. They need to be toughy the laws of fishing and camping in yose.

    Heads up, look up regulations for Yosemite. I'm pretty sure there's no live bait allowed, only artificial lures. Might want to take vid down from dfg.

      heads up look up the laws it says from a certian point to point.

  • @JMB1849

    Using bait is illegal in Yose. People like you who don't know the law ruin things for us law-abiding citizens. Also, you're not allowed to camp within 100 feet of the water in the wilderness. Keep this video up. I hope you pay the fines.
