Can you give me idea how long drive from Fresno to thee lake?
Awe I want to join the crew 🙏
The Tito's Vodka had me hooked! 👍🏾
nice fish! bros gettin faded....lol
Yessir, always have to have a good time when you go out.
I live in Nevada City Ca and have for 41 years I would like to bank fish for cats where I don't have to walk far from my car or a campsite. I am 70 years old so I am a little limited, but I love fishing for cats. I live a few miles from Scotts Flatt Lake and catch cats here but would like to try Oroville Lake for a change. I also catfish at Collins Lake and have done well there!!
Lake Oroville is a good place to catch Catfish, try Foremans Creek area at Lake Oroville. i've also caught a few on the Sacramento river.
where is a good spot for catfish bank fishing, if you don't mind me asking?
@@dbcooper692 whiskey slough off hwy 4 west stockton, i catch them alot there in the delta
@@LoLife.Outdoors Thanks so much, but Stockton is close to a three-hour drive from where I live in Nevada County CA. Good luck always and God Bless!!
Im fuckin wit these vids bro 💯🔥keep goin up 📈📈
@@Kenj1826 thank you for the view and support.
Using bait is illegal in Yose. People like you who don't know the law ruin things for us law-abiding citizens. Also, you're not allowed to camp within 100 feet of the water in the wilderness. Keep this video up. I hope you pay the fines.
hike your own hike buddy. You seem fun.
@jmb1849 bring a Tito’s bottle next time you hike. Maybe you won’t be as pissy
How did you make that sauce?
@@darrenese921 its called “jiew som” in laos. Add garlic n salt n msg(optional) to pestal n mortar or blender, pound it to a paste then add thai chillis and pound it, then add cilantro and pound it. Then lime juice and fish sauce. Thats it. There are many different variations of this sauce tho.
@@LoLife.Outdoors appreciate it bro. You’re videos are real and authentic. Once you can invest in a mic it’s wraps 🤞
Where is the spot of the waterfall??
@@xxkyky you have to hike up the trail
Really nice 👍👍👍
Thanks for the support.
Them blue OG asian sandles though!!! 🔥
You know it hadda, bring out the OG sandanls and they straight from Thailand the motherland brother!!
@@LoLife.Outdoors 💯 🙏
Heads up, look up regulations for Yosemite. I'm pretty sure there's no live bait allowed, only artificial lures. Might want to take vid down from dfg.
heads up look up the laws it says from a certian point to point.
@@LoLife.Outdoors It's pretty clearly stated in the general regulations that bait is prohibited. That applies throughout the entire park. The area specific regulations are more for season dates and bag limits.
Thanks for sharing your Rig! Couldnt find the trail head on Google.
Keep the technique a secret now lol. send me a dm on insta ill share info for you.
@@LoLife.Outdoors I'm in the DM!
good ish boys. Recommend you take the name out the title or you gonna blow up your spot!
Good idea, but in my opinion i love to show people new places and things to do, especially in the backpacking community, there's more than enough places to go out there. thanks for viewing.
It's in yose. It's already blown up. They need to be toughy the laws of fishing and camping in yose.
Now that’s the best way to eat your fish!!
Yessir, banana leaf or tinfoil, bass is best.
Man that looks awesome! I’ve been searching for a good spot that I can backpack to camp and do some fishing.. I’ve done quite a few spots in the bishop area do you have any recommendations?
Yes, there are many places, my personal favorite place of all time is Yosemite, but it is hard to get a permit for places inside the park, they run through a lottery system. My second favorite is desolation wilderness its near tahoe. there are places near bishop, on the Jon Muir Trail that you can section hike, i Thru-hiked it back in 2022, my favorite places are Thousand island lakes and Rae Lakes.
@@LoLife.Outdoors how is the fishing at those spots in the sierras? Ive tried 2 years in a row for the lottery with no luck. I’ve done little lakes valley and or gem lakes can’t remember lol north fork trail and a few other little spots in John Muir but really trying to put this ultra light rod to work! Somewhere that isn’t as pressured and forces people to actually hike a ways to get there
@@ChristiannTyler its amazing i was catching them with a red spinner, red tends to be the color that fish eat or attack the most. if you can try my technique, i havent skunked ever since.
aye you lao??
I'm Mien, but my parents from Lao.
@@LoLife.Outdoors nice bro my mom's Lao. what is Mien? first time hearing it. ya'll from socal?

Iu-mienh, is our offical name, search it on google sir.
@@LoLife.Outdoors how come you different from your parents ?
dope vid. did you need a permit for this?
Yes, anytime you disperse camp (backpacking) you need to obtain a wilderness permit.

Love my culture.
Looked like fun. Nice fish
Had an amazing time.

I've been going up to Alpine for 30yrs and never knew there were catfish in that lake. Crazy!
My first time there, Amazing place, my favorite drive in spot in California so far. The catfish was a big surprise for me too.

@sirtheothewhite yes, it was an amazing unforgettable experience. I had an amazing time. Thank you for watching.
The fumble made the cut!? Ha

We did this summer of 1951 great memories.
That's amazing, how has it changed since then?? it was a tough one for the first trip of the season.
is this #16 the closest to the lake? there isn't another campsite between this one and the lake?
Site 16. I believe 15, 18, 19 and 21 are closer. there is a map on the website for you to look at when booking. It is fairly close to the water.
Nice video
You are so bad at harvesting... Covered it after..
thats crazy, i did mention to cover it after and i always do, but thanks for telling me.
We were just there a couple of months ago. I was wondering if you came across the abandoned Cadillac Seville half way through the trail? Awesome video.
no we didnt, but we did see a bunch of priuses n carollas lol, great spot
