I never saw this movie ... but this has got to be one of the most suspenseful and entertaining HHG´s episode EVER. Bullshitting your way into an location in the disguise of a maintenance-worker ? Even better than your story of how you got into the Halloween 6 location´s in the basement.
Love you man. This was my top 20 movies as a teenager, and it was something i use to watch on antenna tv 20 years ago.There is so little information about this movie, and it is awesome you did this. I've read they torn the schools down, but good to see they still exist. Crazy that the exterior shots look so run down, which was very memorable in the movie. To bad you couldn't get inside that other school and find the chem class, toilets, and that hallway.

I remember you telling me about filming slaughter high for an episode last year at frightmare in the falls I thought maybe you scrapped it.....i love how you are dressed like a construction worker to get in for the shot at the end that had me dying.
I can’t recall anyone covering locations from this film. They did an incredible job restoring the Sanitorium, it looks quite beautiful. A bit of correction, the school used for the girls locker room was in a grammar school scheduled to be demolished, which is how they were able to blow up the chemistry lab.
Ahh one for the OG horror fans and a cult classic. As a kid the mask terrified me! Its literally been decades since I watched this movie I Never realised it was made in my home country, thank you for this little gem my man I really admire you and all your work 👍🏽
As a guy that grew up working in a video store, I immediately recognized this poster/box art and assumed I had seen the movie. However, the more of this video I watched, the more I started to think maybe I have only seen bits of it. Maybe I got it mixed up with Horror High. Guess I'll put it on my watch list for this spooky season.
Slaughter High is some great 80s cheese, and those locations really give the movie some extra character. It's a shame you couldn't get into that abandoned school where the interiors were shot. Looks like it's all still in pretty good condition and you could match up a lot of scenes. Hopefully one day you'll get that chance.
