- I did it, after a year and a half with the Silverado, I finally said goodbye😢 but the sadness can only last so long when you see the new Sting-grey Jeep that is replacing it!!! Excited to kick off a new Journey!

It’s crazy how negative these comments are? This is sick. You cannot drive a truck on the beach with the doors and roof of and gave even close to an experience you can with the jeep. No I wouldn’t own one, but that doesn’t change the fact that the experience is gonna be awesome and at the end of the day HE LIKES it and it’s HIS daily sooooo… y’all ain’t got cars from 2021 😂😂

I totally agree. I love his Chanel for the basics. Love cars in general. I daily a jeep 2 door and love it. For work I drive a semi. Going from one to the other is amazing in the better weather. I got mine last year so I cant go get a 21. 2020 is new enough.

I was sceptical when I first saw the video before clicking on it but forwards the end when u explained all the off-roading and camping stuff I got reminded that the jeep is for u guys, not us, you don’t owe us anything, u could quit doing RUclips and get a regular job but ur doing this because u enjoy it and the community it comes with. so I think we should be appreciative of the fact that ur still here posting videos. I’ve been following u for years and I continue to watch every single video that drops because of ur personality and I take the car content as a bonus, so it makes me happy seeing u excited! One minute into the video and hoping you eventually will address what you will be using to tow the genesis seeing as Jeep’s are extremely under powered. Either way always do what makes you happy. Hope to see more BRZ content soon!

I agree 100% but you can still tow a car like that no problem. Ive done it and it’s not that bad.
While I am happy for you, my biggest concern is "what will you use for towing". Jeeps are relatively gutless compared to actual trucks.
ive towed cars with a miata you don't need a 40ft long truck to tow lmao. most aussies and kiwis do it just fine with a 4 litre or under 6 cylinder.

As a truck guy I will miss the Silverado but man I can’t wait for the jeep content as well as exploring content. You could always buy a way cheaper truck and tow with that. Happy to see you’re doing what you want, the loyal and true fans will be with you through whatever you choose to do. Happy for you !
Even if I didn’t utterly love that Silverado… absolutely beautiful truck. donut media just proved you can do a lot of adventuring in a full size truck.
It’s not being hateful, negative or bash. It’s just the truth. I know you’re trying to find your market to continue to grow. But what’s holding you back is slow cars, and slow progress; which is all due to… a lack of money.
So spending 50k on a car that is not what your viewers click on. Especially when you’d achieve the same thing by buying an older one, without loosing your only tow rig. Just seems like a really bad gamble.

the chevy was way cooler than this jeep, never liked jeeps anyway, this an L in my opinion, but if you like it thats all that matters.
I even like Jeep Wranglers, and yet I still agree that the Chevy was much cooler.

In terms of towing that definetly won't be good at it, I would personally recomend buying an older vehicle for towing though, and build it up and clean it up, they are expensive and difficult to find but if you get something older it will be much cheaper than a new truck, and likely more reliable and easier to mod
I would have just bought an older jeep to mod for offroading they will have more support for it and kept the truck

Why do y’all need to be so negative like let the man live his life. Just cause he asks us a few times on Instagram what mod he should do next doesn’t me you can control every aspect of his life. I personally think the truck was way cooler cause I’m not a big jeep fan but I’ve supported Robbie since day one and it makes me happy that he’s so pumped about it. It’s his life let him live it how he wants to. Knowing Robbie this jeep is gonna look dope as hell once the builds done. Keep up the great work Robbie!

What I AM a fan of is Robbie being true to himself & enjoying life. Nothing but mad respect for that.
Hopefully some of them tonnes of mods are Arch Lights, Bumper & Roof Bars with spots, & a huge lift kit, & big ass tyres bro!!!!

I work at a Chrysler dealership (rhythm cdjr) and I figured you may like to know that Maserati has heads for the penta star and with the right set up you can run about 600/700 with a rip super charger there is a guy that I work with that built a 3.6 that would run with scat pack glad to see what your doing :-)
Hey @Rob - I traded my 20' Sierra for a 20' JLU Rubicon and it's the best thing ever. You're right, the truck can only do small things. Can't entirely go off-roading. But it was a fun ownership!
Hi Robbie, I know a car that you might like. It's not yet really available in Canada (a euro special that isn't 15 yet). It's an Alfa Romeo 159 SW (if you gat one get the 2.4JTD/2.4JTDM since you might want to try something different from gas engines. And these thing can also to up to 1.5 metric tons (1500 kg) while being a quite sexy car...
And I know that north America doesn't really have wagons but compare the wagon to the sedan design and you have to agree that it is a good looking wagon...
It can basically pull another one of itself and the trailer if it's that kind of weight is must have trailer brakes (yes this is also for safety and anything above 750kg also by law has to have trailer brakes in Europe...)
And the towing capacity is for the 1.9L diesel model, not the 5 pot...
Also that 5 cylinder engine sounds so good and the turbo sounds are awesome, but the automatic transmission is kinda shit
@@Frrarii there are manual transmission examples available for that car with the 2.4 diesel...
And since it's an euro only model the manuals should be a lot easier to find...
In Europe still about 50% of new car sales are 5/6 speed manual boxes (in Europe a lot of people still prefer manual and there cheaper in Europe while in the USA and Canada their a paid option...

Those 3.6 have very common issues with the rocker arms going bad and oil coolers leaking just heads up

This is relatable. I went from a 2013 Honda Civic si sedan to a 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee for the capability to do for activities same color too real love the string ray grey

the one main thing i’m sad about is you don’t have a v8 anymore :( gonna miss hearing the ute/truck start up (i can’t even remember what’s the go with the s10)
i dig the color. as long as you like it and it does what you need it to thats all that matters.
Why can’t you tow your car to drifting, why are people under this impression you need massive vehicles to tow with ? For as often as your going to tow a trailer that jeep should be more than capable. Provided your not pulling ridiculous amount of weight. In Europe pulling cars with SUV’s that size is common af.
Time for that height and fender mods. Big tires for that fitment too
understandable trade in, just a quick heads up, they do have problems with the oil cooler leaking and making it seem like you have a tranny leak. it sits in the middle of the engine and will flow backwards on top of the trans when it leaks, the seals are garbage and i dont think they fixed it yet on the new jeeps

for off-roading i personally would’ve gone with a 4runner i just ain’t a big jeep guy. the manual is cool but there’s definitely a huge learning curve when you’re rock climbing.
Robbie if you are going to wheel this thing offroad and don't wanna feel bad about scratching it, can I recommend looking into rhino liner or raptor liner as a future mod.

I still think the truck was more capable. But do what you think is best. Though I hope you didn’t do a straight-across trade… that Chevy could have gotten easily $45k private sale. My 2018 Sierra is worth what I paid for it new.
Heck yeah man Canada has some of the best trails for Jeep’s and I’m in Texas can’t wait for your build all you need is a 3-6 inch lift with 33s or 35s
As much as I loved the Silverado with its lift, wheels and the way it made me feel like buying a truck I think that you're gonna love the Jeep. So will most of the viewers as well. Excited to see what mods come first, and some dope travel videos maybe 👀👀.

Why not just buy an old jeep and build it to beat on 😐, like it makes sense to have a heavy duty tow vehicle and just buy a old jeep that can get beat up and can do the same thing as a new jeep

Just traded my Jeep Wrangler for the new Silverado. Jeep kept having too many issues rising up even though it only had 35k miles.
What a stupid trade Robbie. The truck is so much better. Jeeps are underpowerd and just a fashion icon. Never thought youd be a sellout, and do things just for the image.

I used to own a 2020 JL Rubicon in the backseat was uncomfortable no room So I trade it in and got my self a 2021 ford f450 platinum diesel
