I’ve been watching the channel since way back when you did the wish parts for the BRZ in 2018. I’m so excited for the Jeep build! I’ve hoped that you would build a weekend over landing/off roading rig for so long, and it sounds like it’s finally happening.
I have a ‘76 Jeep CJ7 that I’ve been slowly working on since January. When I got it, it had a few off roading mods done to it, but I’ve mostly been repairing stuff instead of modding it. I’m hoping some of the mods you do to the wrangler will be applicable to my CJ also
I bought a sting gray sport just like yours. My dealer was lifting, adding new wheels and tires and electric side steps to a new Rubicon for another customer at that time. So I was able to buy all 5 Rubicon wheels and tires the rock rails for $500 plus my stock wheels and tires. It turned out great. Thanks for your videos I always learn something new.
You should get the larger touch screen u-conect that dodge has in the Rams it would ve 🔥

No they do not.
Rubicon comes with front disconnect sway bar for more articulation for when going over odd terrain and keeping the tyre's on the ground for better stability.
This was my same thought process when buying mine. I went with the core I wanted and the rest I can upgrade when I want.
The bolts on the frame when you took the front bumper off - perfect mounting spot for a light bar.

Hey Robbie! I think my car threw a rod, it won’t start and it’s making a noise. It starting making a loud noise, then BAM it turns off. I have a Honda Civic si 2008 and I was asking if I need too replace the engine can you tell me what’s the best one?
Rubicon has stronger axels lockers and a 4:1 transfercase
With the 3.6 anyway, i dont think the 4:1 is available on the diesel or the 2.0t. I may be wrong but thats what i gathered.

rubicon also comes with dana 44 axels and not 30/35 and upgrading your axels is 15k easy
I feel like the Phillips head bolts are a bad choice Robbie. Do they salt the roads there? Those are going to rust and be hella hard to get back out.

Those probably won't help much if you pivot the weight of the jeep around a rock, that's what sliders are for after all. Those mounts look a little too small. With that said though they are dirt cheap, fit great and look really good.
For tires until the open countries get here go to custom offsets and buy kenda klevers. Relatively cheap and they’re good ass tires for the price
I know its temporary but I used a box knifw to cut the top wings off of those stupid bumper air dams and put the rest back ob to protect the lights.

Totally agree with your thoughts on the trim level thing. I went out and bought a Pro-4x Nissan Frontier and looking back I definitely should’ve gone with a a basic model since I have now swapped out the suspension and tires.
You should do some off-road fenders and bumpers. Would really pop with the grey.

You can replace the front air dam with a light bar and tap into your fog light to power it.
A few tips neoprene seat covers same thing diving suits made out of
Sway bar disconnect on the rubicon too Robbie
wheels and tires are always the first mod a stock jeep needs.
what camera you use love the quality
Get a Viofo V3 dash cam, it's sleek, cheap and very small.
easiest and cheapest way to get tires for a Jeep is FB market lol you'll find tons of OEM rubi and aftermarket wheels dirt cheap

Love my ridge wallet but the plastic casing broke (wear and tear, it's 5+ years old) and they're not very helpful with replacing older casings..
When they say lifetime warranty they mean if you can get a response
@@user-white007 I got a response, because they no longer used the material my casing was made from they weren't interested. They might have said the warranty didn't cover the damage to mine which is fair enough but they dismissed it right away.

Rubi rails with ace sliders for steps is what I run on my jk sport s
They make dash cam cords that plugs into your obd2 port thats how mine is done
I wouldn't use philips head bolts to attach the sliders.

Maybe you can put Robbiecon on the side of the hood in stead of rubicon because this wrangler gets the Robbie special

Not necessarily true about the Rubicon being useless for modding. The Rubicons have front and rear lockers, better transfer case, and bigger axles. Not trying to be rude at all, just saying they also have other benefits. There are a decent bit of cosmetic only benefits to the Rubicons as well. Especially the newer models.

You should get some real rock sliders. If you ever hit those on a rock they’ll most likely fold up and crush the body

@@BradBeauvais I’m not knocking them in any way, and they’re probably great for the area you guys are in. I just really like the looks and the functionality of full tubing rock sliders tied directly to the frame. I often times have the full weight of the vehicle on the sliders as I’m rock crawling. Again, I’m not saying this to be negative, just giving my opinion. I also agree with Robbie, especially for the price, they are much much better than looking at the pinch weld👌🏻👌🏻
Love your videos robbie but jeeps definitely arent my thing. On a side note my wife loves them an will eventually have to end up building her one. Keep up the content of what u like not what others think!

I actually agree with you on the dash cam. Just into an accident where a guy rammed me into a concrete divider and he left the scene of the accident. Even though he left the scene and I got his plate number after the cop tracked him down the cop said that it's was a no fault incident because I hit his car trying to get him to stop. Fucking bullshit that you can leave the scene of a crime and still talk your way out of being at fault...smh.
