RIP Taylor Hawkins ❤️
Most overrated comment ever
To be playing for over two hours nonstop with such high levels of energy and power like he is here, without breaking a sweat...what a machine he was. RIP Taylor.
The man was such a great drummer, he was constantly sweating but that was just all the extra, overfill of talent finding it's way out of his body :) Unlike any others. RIP TH.
It's amazing , there indurance & paces, to lay so long & remember all there songs. Christ.
i was there, best night of my life, lost my shoe and broke my foot as i was front row getting squished, got thrown over the barrier then had to run round to get back to the show with a broken foot, watched the rest of the show with my friends and my gf further back where i could really appreciate it, sung every word to every single song, cried during these days, times like these, best of you and everlong...honestly was the best night of my whole life
Thank you for sharing 💙
WHITE LIMO!!!!! READY?!?!?!?! YEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!
- Foo Fighters show in a nutshell
haha 😂
'ARE YOU READY?! SING IT! WHOAH YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!" before spending another 10 minutes playing the same song.
I remember this being on live on tv , I was about 7 years old I’m pretty sure , and thought out this whole 2 hours of them playing I would stand up playing “air guitar” getting into the songs then sitting down watching , then getting up playing “air guitar” copying Dave grohl , I’ve been listening to foo fighters non stop since I was 4 years old I’m lucky I can remember the first time I listening to foo fighters I was born into foo fighters my dad loves them aswell and has done way before I was born , my dad was lucky to see the foos in 2007 at the Concorde 2 in Brighton , England and luckily got Taylor Hawkins set list and drum stick we are going to be framing it in my house soon I’m so lucky to have been introduced to a badass band like the foo fighters , I’ll never get over the death of Taylor Hawkins , I think about you everyday , I miss you T 💔 and foo fighters you made my childhood and hopefully when I have my own family in the future they love this band like a do 😁😁🤘🏻😎.
I like how they played a lot of the old ones that aren't really that well known by most but the really big fans love.
Winnebago
Adam Mcdowell Im a huge fan
Foo Fighters first album is my favorite album by them. After the third album, they went pop.
Andy Gibson SG how can you call ‘Wasting Light’ a pop album and songs like ‘All My Life’ ‘The Pretender’ and ‘Run’ pop songs?
The first 2 albums have that 90's vibe,I mean, that grunge sound.I wish Foo Fighters would have kept Kurt Cobain's legacy.
I am finding it a struggle losing Taylor, being a Foo fan since they started out - their music has been a big part of my life - it's seems so unbelievable that we will never see him play again - just thankful for RUclips footage - I can't imagine what Dave and his family are going through. RIP Taylor you will never be forgotten x
I really really hate to admit this. But I feel like I took the Foos for granted. We already had Nirvana so this band just felt like icing on the cake. Foo Fighters may well be one of the best live bands of all time. God it kills me what happened to Taylor. RIP
super close to crying when dave said "this ones for chris, and this ones for kurt" that was literally the sweetest thing ever
love you, taylor
Dave puts on a tremendous live Rock show...He is Rock royalty and has worked his ass off to get too this point. Nothing but mad respect for him and the way he treats his fans. Worth every damn penny!
🐐
wow. 20 something years ago, Grohl was banging the drums in 92, now, he carries on the legacy.
RIP Taylor...As a 51 year-old former druggie, that hits very close to home. Prayers to all those out there struggling 🙏

What A Setlist!
Rest in peace Taylor Hawkins, thanks for making this the best gig I've ever been to ❤️
2019 here we go..
thought it was only me
@@nickbarry3730 2020 is worse
Blue Back Studio It is not bad that you are watching this as at least you listen to an amazing band even if it is 8 years late
First album still my favorite...love to hear the older tunes!
Hell yeah! Old nirvana fans prefer it (like me)
Itś boring that they dont play songs from first album anymore...
What an amazing set list! Hey Johnny Park!, Generator, Exhausted, and more oldies!
Can I just say, it has been 6 years since this show. I was working night shifts at Reading fest that year and was super tired but refused to miss this. 6 years on I still think about this show and how incredible it was. I do not listen to them as much as they deserve these days but Foo Fighters are truly one in a million!
I've been to a lot of gigs and this was easily the best. Was right at the front moshing and singing my heart out. Would do anything to relive this gig again.
As soon as White Limo kicked in it went off!! This show was the most amazing thing I have ever experienced in my life, need to see the Foos again as soon as possible!
in 1992 Kurt with Audience say hello to Courtney, and 2012 Dave with Audience say hello to Dave's mother. England you guys rock!!!!!!!
I could watch this 100 times and not get bored!!!!
after watching this how can anyone not LOVE the Foo Fighters???
its amazing to see nirvana play there and then years later the drummer is the lead singer of his band playing the same place nirvana did
allniner1 ikr isn't just amazing.
We will miss you so Taylor. 😔😔
The official house band of Reading! Have been fortunate to see them play Reading three times: 2002, 2005 and 2012. They're the best foos gigs you'll ever see; it's Dave's favourite place on the planet to play! So, so sad to see Taylor here so soon after his untimely passing. Rest well, friend.
i was there! albeit a fair few rows back, but still an incredible show. my first time seeing foos in concert, and three days later i still feel totally wrecked and i still haven't regained my voice. phenomenal..
You the man buddy. RIP Taylor
Me and my friend both grew up during the whole Nirvana boom, or whatever you want to call it, the suicide, and the rise of the Foo Fighters. We were both there that night, and when he gave the speech before Times Like These, we both cried. We were literally hanging off each other, both crying. I've never seen him cry before, and neither he me, but it was such a beautiful moment we just looked at each other and laughed. I doubt we will ever talk of it again. It was just beautiful. Beautiful.
the best setlist they ever had
Foo fighter's rock, love 💘 watching them live on RUclips it's just like being there live in person for those time's when they are playing not in your hometown and so far away. Foo fighter's are musical GOD'S, I am proud to be a fan for over 20 year's.
Saw these guys at Milton Keynes a couple of years back on the broken leg tour i have been a fan of Daves since nirvana who unfortunately i never got to see live but seeing him on his throne in front of 65,000 people with every single one of them in the palm of his hand was absolutely amazing and Big Me was just incredible it was basically him on a dark stage and the crowd lit up the whole place needless to say it was extremely emotional i loved every minute of it
I was at this show. One of the best...can't believe how long that setlist was!!!
i would kill to go to a FF show and they play Generator and Hey Johnny park
monorxHD I Saw Them In Melbourne In 2015 And They Played Generator
Milan, 2011. They did Generator and I was there.
Johnny Park is one of my favs, as well.
I was there amazing show :)
Update, I went to a Foos show for the third time ending 2019, they played Hey Jhoony park, i was so happy.
"This ones for Chris, this ones for Kurt", God i swear i dont think i could love this man more
Do you know where he says that
@@yourface1232 these days 1:01:01
The 2012 wristband still dons my left wrist, my friend managed to get a handful of Foos dollars so I have three of them, and most importantly; I am the guy who started the 'Mrs Grohl' chant, and no I'm not joking.
Easily one of the best nights of my life.
Is it still on your wrist?
Evan Salehi I want to know the same
Lol same here!
@@evansalehi4417 sorry, I didn't even see this comment until the one just today!
Unfortunately it fell off in the shower in late 2018, but I do still have it, in like a memories folder, along with some of the Foo Fighters dollars 😁
@@MrLePov Hahaha! No worries my man, glad to hear you and your memorabilia are keeping well! Merry Christmas mate, if you celebrate anyway
this was the highlight of my year, cried my eyes out through the set, an amazing night, best live band i've watched... a memory i'm taking to the grave
ROCK AND GROHL!!!
brilliant show & concert, amazing band.
I love what Dave starts saying at 17:39 . . . He's such a real, considerate, nice person and it's just awesome.
Foo Fighters rocks seriously. It wasn't a show...It was the show. I was there. Pretty cool!!
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! Exhausted??!!?! Alone Easy Target???? One of the best sets this band has ever played!!!! Again thank you for putting it up!!!! :DD
Saw these in sunderland last night, still emotional
I wasn't at Reading or Leeds this year and I regret it. I've seen the Foos plenty of times over the years and they're always a superb live band, but for this performance they just look like they're on another level! Amazing that they included Exhausted, Hey Johnny Park, Wattershed and, one of my favourite Foos songs ever, Alone + Easy Target. This set will definitely go down in festival history
Man this Band rocks, I did Reading 1st time an I am 57. I had heard of INXS and Kirk but niver got into them but I was blown away with this performance, Foo Fighters for life.
I seen Foo Fighters in Calgary on my birthday in 2011. I've been to many rock shows over the years, their show is #1 on my list. Energy, Sweat, Sore voice, Sore feet, Sore back. I rocked out for 2.5 hours!
Dave really brings a f'ing rock show! He is twice the age as most bands now days but he brings 10x the heat! He's still emotionally connected to his music and shows it. Unlike many of the bands today that wouldn't know how to rock a crowd if they're lives depended on it.
Gotta talk my son into going, gonna be the only 60 year old guy there.
Your son needs to go, he'll thank you later!
+Jay Keller Hell Im 44. Age really is nothing but a number.
+Jay Keller You only only young, so stay young or be boring!
Nope. I'm gonna be the only 61-year-old woman there!!!
TehGingerGuy lmao
I've seen the foo fighters at least six times and this show at reading was by far the best!! Amazing
Oh how I miss you Taylor Long live the Hawk ❤️
Both of my parents had a mix up in getting my birthday present. So I ended up getting tickets to two different Foo Fighter concerts... Best birthday ever.
@1:48:58 I flipping love how much the UK loves the Foos and Dave, enough that we sing happy birthday to his Mom and then chant a respectful "Mrs Grohl" because we love her as much as we love her son and his incredible band.
Their best show ever
I was there. CRAZY and DANGEROUS, yet extremely AMAZING. If you wanna die honourably, Reading is your spot... Anyway it was one of the best Foo Fighters shows I've seen in my life... (Please note that in this video is missing one song: Walk. They played it right after I'll Stick Around... Dave dedicated the song to her daughter Violet, so she went on stage and sat on an amplifier) Cheers from Italy! ;-)
Fucking insane I saw the foofighters in 1998 and was not a huge fan until I saw them at kroq annual weenie roast live and blew my mind .they have been there through all stages of my life getting better and better.ive seen grohl in his punk band scream in 1985 opening for the subhumans at the Olympic auditorium in LA and with nirvana in 1991 as they broke through the surface of the underground and watched him evolve with the foo fighters into one of the greatest front men in rock n roll.a true warriors that carries the torch for my generation .They have grown into one of the greatest rock n roll bands to ever exist! I'm proud to say I'm a lifelong foo fighters fan and Taylor Hawkins is from the same area I grew up in playing in punk bands in laguna Beach Dana point and san clemente! A hometown hero and sensational drummer and singer watch him nail the vocals playing wembly stadium with Dave on drums playing with Jimmy page and john Paul Jones of led zeppelin a true tock stars dream come true.Rip Taylor Hawkins! Thank you for the greatest rock band to carry the torch through my generation in music.long live the foo fighters.you are insane live and put on a rock n roll show that is worth its weight in gold!! Rock n roll lives because of musicians like these.thank you for keeping rock n roll alive!!we love you!!
That drum solo was awsome !!!
foo fighters best concert ever!!!! period.
One of my goals in life is to one day finally get to see Foo Fighters live.
After having seen so many Foo Fighters concerts from their inception to the present, no problem, this is the best concert of them!
Never again will I experience a show as unbelievable as this: just no words.
Everlong was arguably one of the greatest things I've ever seen in my life: TAKE ME BACK!
One of the best moments of my life so far. Amazing band, so glad I got to see them before they temporarily disbanded.
Foo Fighters! You're amazing here! Wonderful sound! Good vibes and energy! It's what your music makes us feel. It's like climbing the walls with so much good emotion! I wish I had seen this show! Really like you, Misters! Very much! You're one of the best! Thanks for sharing this Amazing and Wonderful Music with us over all these years! And it's also good to remember our dear Taylor Hawkins, to see him playing with so much passion and talent! Please, never stop making music for us and don't stop selling your albums, even the previous ones. Each of them is wonderful, beautiful! We miss you so much! Rock For Ever!!🤘🤘🎶🎶🎼🎼🎸🎸👍👍💖💖
Best night of my life such a epic and emotional and just uplifting few hours could listen to the Foo's forever and dave and his stories
I was there. Best foo fighters gig I've seen and I've been to a few
Dave was in front of me during My Hero. Such a fitting song. Managed to touch his chest and his guitar. That memory will be with me till death.
Think this might be my favourite Foo Fighters setlist of all the shows I've seen them at, was a fantastic evening in Reading that night.
SO glad I was there, I'd been waiting years to finally see the Foos and got in there just in time! Incredible evening, I could watch this over and over again!
Epic show! Height of the Foo Fighters IMO!
Crazy good set. Dave still claims its his fav show to date
Thanks for this!! I was there and it was probably the best night of my life. Sad that I couldn't see anyone else around me singing along to the lesser known songs but it was the perfect setlist and a special night!
couldnt speak for 3 days after this no lie, most amazing set ever- could be their last one for years
I was there...and as long as I live i will never forget this magical set...and this awesome festival.
Watching this tonight to get me pumped for this weekend! Heading down there tomorrow for early entry can't wait!!
Stefan Head see you there!
My favourite set list they ever did
That setlist though! :)
You will enjoy. seen them 3 times and they're getting better every time.. this is the best show i've ever seen any band put on and i've seen them all, from Big Country in Belfast (1980's) to Stone Roses at Heaton Park (2012).. Garth Brooks in Dublin(1990's) to Michael Buble in the new Aviva stadium in Dublin (2010).. Red Hot Chili Peppers at Slane (1990's) to Duran Duran in Befast (1980s).. Dave Grohl is the gentleman of rock music who has sculpted the Foo Fighters into the worlds biggest band !
nice one, glad there were people like you in the crowd. I only saw this on youtube as I was lying in bed last night, but my jaw dropped when the opening drums to that song kicked in. so many classics, I wish I had made the trip up there from London for this.
I felt so many goosebumps and a lump in my throat when Everlong kicked in.
I SAW THEM AT LEEDS FEST 2012,AND THEY WERE FUCKING AMAZING,IVE SEEN THEM TWICE NOW WOOOOOOOOO...FOO FIGHTERS ARE THE FUCKING BEST
All the song start times in the description! I salute you!! Great upload!!
THIS IS A GREAT SHOW FROM START TO FINISH.
I've seen this about 15 times now. I'm still not bored.
Only to the people who really appreciate what they are seeing, I looked around at the people while there and some people looked bored. Foos should redo this playlist at a purely Foos gig to the people who really deserve to hear it :)
Yep, me and the wife were there. 40 meters front right 👉. Collected 7 foo fighters dollars too 💵.
We were also very fortunate to see them in Vegas, new years eve party, cosmopolitan... Awesome 👍. Just after watching Brittany Spears's last Vegas show. (which was a miming extravaganza). 👎
Without a doubt, the best night of my life. They just get better every time I see them.
Between Foo Fighters, and Pearl Jam, they are 2 veteran rock groups that still put on the best show on earth. My opinion. They deserve nothing but the headlining slots. At ANY festival! haha
I fucking love you dave.
Dave IS the coolest guy in rock. No doubt
Glad I saw them in 1995 in a club probably smaller than that stage!
This was such a good night. Best band I have ever seen, by far.
Fucking magical. Brings a tear to my eye. Ill NEVER forget that weekend, especially that Sunday night.
checked it out, looked like it was good, over 3 hours too, nice. in my opinion though this set has that extra little bit which appeals to a day one foo fighters fan like myself, the fact they played "winnebago" and "exhausted" - (maybe my favourite FF song ever) coupled with the fact this is 20 years exactly after Nirvana played their legendary Reading set make this more special to me. it all comes down to personal taste really...
For me this is the best set they ever played. And that’s saying something for these guys.
at 1:04:51, I've been to a few concerts to know exactly what happened after the cameras cut to the next shot. xD
Camera guy must've been like "nice", and then he went "oh shit cut cut cut" when she started taking the top off
You dont need to be at a concert you just know 😂😂👀👀
It make my day
Thank for this I was there, still have the foo dollars! Best foo show I've been to over the years
So happy I was there... so so so happy
Рок 🎸 навсегда здорово 👍
I love this set-list soooo much
Best Foos setlist ever, absolutely gutted I didn't go.
this performance is just captivating
