There is lots about making this ham trailer a reality. I watch everything I can on similar builds on youTube. This trip was the first shake down of what I have done so far. Lots of things fell and shifted, but nothing was broken or damaged. A comment from a viewer mention vibration. I haven't come to a conclusion yet, and don't know if I am qualified . . . Several of the units here are made for the military. 1) I don't think the manufacturing line would necessarily or generally be different as far as building boards for consumers than for the military. 2)It has to survive UPS and FedEx in shipping. These two considerations give me confidence the radios won't just shake apart. They don't just rattle about on the shelves; they are secured with tight webbing while in motion. So, the general shock that the trailer transmits while enduring bumps is the gist of what the radio needs to survive. I am considering a suggestion to provide vibration mats to each radio on these shelves. We will see.
