On the front panel, look at the upper left corner. You'll see a series of holes in a snowflake pattern.
_That's an internal condenser microphone.._
It works a bit better than the cheapo hand mike.

Firstly, I would just insert a Heil Mic element into the Existing Mic Housing.
It would make a nice video to showcase the CW decoding and keyboard input.....if you haven't yet. Might be nice for those of us that are still learning and trying to get our copy speed up. You could check the screen if you miss something in your copy.

What are its antenna matching capabilities? How much mismatch will it tolerate without blowing up the output FETs?

Is this rig capable of split operation? If yes, is it possible to listen to both VFOs simultaneously, perhaps by assigning one VFO to each headphone channel?

Nice introduction. I just received mine yesterday and was enjoying it for a bit then suddenly it stopped tuning more than 50KHz up and down on any band in any mode. If I repress the band button, it switches to the other Mode Memory on a different frequency, but I cannot tune up and down more than 50KHz still, strange. On 40 meters the lower limit of the 50KHz range I can tune is below 7.000 MHz, out of band. I connected it to the internet and ./update ./build but still no joy. I am thinking some setting has become awry.
I figured it out, I moronically had the RIT enabled, whoops.
No fuses on power cable?

The battery will eventually catch fire and melt whatever connection is making the short.
I bought a V1. It was not a good experience. I wish I would have waited until things were more mature.

I have the same mic with my latest uBITX. Filling the case with cotton fixes the 'coffee can't echo. It's not a bad mic, and is geared for operators around the world on a budget.
I‘m also now a sbitx owner - and some qso, s are in log. Now I’m looking for a solution for export the log - has anyone a idea for this to do ?

I have one for you....can you add a monitor to it? Thinking for logging. It would make sence to have the log application up on a separate monitor to so you dont have to flip flop windows
Update has a dvr port yes a second monitor is possible

u might be able to connect to bigger screen like tv etc
It has an hdmi port
Refresh speed spectroscope and watterfall is horrible
I tried FT8 yesterday and worked Hawaii but lost the log info when trying to figure out how to log the contact.
I am used to WSJT-X where the box pops up asking to log or dismiss. I guess I should have played with it off
line learning how it works. KL7HRO
