Yes exactly. My channel is for that. I hate it when others show higher trims. Not everyone will buy them and the most popular ones are the mid and low trims.
Just this week I rented a Kona, diving on Interstates, rural highways, bumpy rural roads, and through mountains, in sun and rain. Not sure if it was a 2021 or 2022. I was really impressed! Very smooth ride, plenty of acceleration, comfortable seats and driving position. One quirk was that turning off the car doesn't turn off the infotainment system, and will drain the battery. You have to turn off the infotainment system too, every time you park. The one thing I didn't like about the Kona was that one-sixth of the windshield is covered by a huge black plastic rectangle. If you're short you can look under it, but I'm tall, so from my point of view one-third of the windshield is blocked out. I had to keep ducking my head to look under it.
I just got my 2022 Kona last December and I really like it. I thought I might’ve bought a basic model because I don’t have the sunroof or the remote charging station in the front but I do have push button start and keyless entry so I do have an SEL but is it the SEL or SEL convenience model? Just curious as to which one doesn’t have the sunroof on it.
I had a 2018 Kona Limited and loved it. Just traded it for a 2022 Kona Limited in Ultra Black. In my opinion you should go for the Limited. It has the 1.6 turbo. At around $30,000 it's a good price.
Thanks for showing the base model. So many review sites show higher models and it's hard to see what we will actually get at a lower level.

Do you know if the 2022 se has a key start. Would prefer a key start
@@Iegend17 appreciate it!
keep it up
@@RomaZeal you are very welcome :)
Nothing personal, but this 2022 front end looks 1000% better, more sporty, and unique, just a more attractive overall design!

The front of the new one looks so much better to me. Looked cheaper with the H on the bumper.
I buy one like this today! 🥰 Blue surf color! In Canada the SE is the Essential

For that price, I better buy a CRV Ex. Hyundais loses their value really fast.
The 22 redesign is much better.
The base model doesn’t have Apple play?
It does
Would be fun to buzz around in. I want pulse red.
Thanks buddy
i wiill buy 1 soon
Just bought a 2021 kona limited in pulse red, I agree I like the 2021 front end compared to this one
Thanks for video. Helpful
Nice review!
I don't understand the front design...
Trust me I don’t too lol.
Are you blind?! 2022 is much more mature and sophisticated... the older models looked like toys
This is my car!!
Hahha that’s awesome 👌🏼👍🏼
Nice !
Drink a shot every time he says "Kona"
Mine said it was worth 23,000
What are u expecting? Especially you spending under $24,000. 😅
Complaining about plastic in a base model entry level CUV lol
Did you see the Mazda 😂 who’s laughing now 🤣
@@Iegend17 mazda is the exception not the rule lol
Too cheap plastic for the price ugh
