- I just received these B4Slot UL HO slot car chassis and this is a first impression - these are a fun alternative to original Aurora Thunder Jets. I’m running this on a current AFX race set with the power supply on intermediate and the 120 ohm controller.

I may have to try a couple of these. Look like they run like Auroras. I go through what you go through getting old Tjets to run and wheel bases. Its about time for a new mouse trap. I have the OSX TSX guide pins. They seem to help the car stay in the slot better. Thanks for your review. ....And yes! to non magneted throttle controlled cars
A must have! Low is the only way to go!
Love to see a race when you do it! Great track for racing!! 🍿
I believe the main attraction of this chassis is that it allows some great customs because the chassis is so low and thin. Trying to do just a regular convertible with a T Jet is nearly impossible but this chassis allows for convertibles with full interiors.
Cool chassis there dude
Thanks for showing new chassis. Got to try them out.
Nice also try wider and taller tires we offer or any tjet rims and tires
Pretty cool a more modernized, Aurora thunder, jet, chassis in one sense I enjoyed the video - every time I hear the name, aurora thunder jet brings back childhood memories I had thunder jets, then came the AFX non-magnet traction which my friend parents purchased one for him at the local hobby shop well needless to say that one car shattered my pride I actually believed all of my souped up. Thunder jets were as fast as lightning no his one Afx non-magnet traction destroyed it all I was eight years old. I mowed a attorneys yard once a week with one of those fancy push lawnmowers with the spinning barrel type blades I can’t remember what they’re called but I’m sure you know what I’m talking about. No Gasoline engine youpushed the blade spun I can’t remember the exact figure for it’s been quite some time. It was probably one or two lousy-bucks I received for each cut needless to say thanks to that attorney That allowed me to mow his grass for a few lousy bucks once a week during the summer that’s where my life would change remember I was only eight years old. I can’t quite remember.how much afx non-magnet traction Cars were back then somehow I think they were just shy of four bucks Needless to say all summer long I would spend every lousy dollar I made on afx non-magnet traction cars and hop up kits, which really didn’t hop nothing up just kept your car running fresh oh yeah, I also bought my first AFX carrying case man those were the days I will be 64 July 11. I have tears of eyes right now thinking about the good old days not sure how this turned out with all this mumbo-jumbo but I figured I would share it with you again thanks for your videos.
Great story. Thank you for sharing g this. Always excited about a trip to get a new Aurora!
