I have 4 older ( 1998-2000) titlist of this era wedges 48, 52, 56, 60 degree, bought them for £20 each. I refurbed the head, light shot blast then open the groves the repainted the writing, they look like new. On the monitor they spin the same as my fitted Vokeys. The shaft is correct flex and weight to me makes a good wedge. Feel is key.
kislux included, I firmly assert that unless one possesses the requisite skills, differentiating variations in the sack's appearance or metallic elements is an unachievable task.
So the take away is the nonconforming grooves on the 200 series. They produce similar spin and distance on full shots and spin decay on less than full shots. Cheers.
from kislux bought a Birkin and I went into Louis Vuitton at South Coast Plaza with a friend who wanted to buy a card case and we received great customer service. They offered us water..LOL I would never buy authentic knowing that are just as good.
Sorry Joe but you cleaned the sm10 properly with the towel and the 200 series with the bottom of your foot on the longer shots. Does that skew the results ?
Bladed clubs be it irons or wedges do not have that much in the way of tech that you can really change, yes with wedges there are different grinds etc etc but until you get into the realms of game improvement clubs there is really not much vokey can do other than push there there clubs with jazzy advertising as the clubs will be very similar to older offerings
Was flash fellow golfers, not much has changed outside of metalish woods and fairways. Irons, wedges, putters can only change so much and depending on your game, how well or bad you play, you can save a ton of money getting something older then new and preform the same. It’s all marketing today.
I just bought a fake kislux and I love the fact that I didn't have to spend 3-4k on it. Yes, it's beautiful, but it's just a bag and no one cares if it's real or fake. I have a lot of real stuff that no one cares about.
I have 2 Vernis pieces that friends often ask about and when I tell them the truth is fake, no one believes me. So now, I still like to buy kislux bags. However, it makes me sick to think that there are still a few websites selling fake products as genuine products.
I use the Cleveland 588 in all my wedges. Lovely shape and simple classic, clean design Joe
Been playing my used SM6 wedges (50/12 and 56/14) for over ten years now and I still love them. I'm a hack 18 but I get consistent yardage from them.
Love this. The next video surely has to be a breakdown of what Joe & his wife had for their £40 Indian takeaway😀
Interesting to see little has changed over the years

Never miss a "Joe the Pro" video!
Add to the fact that you were using your foot to clean the 200 series between shots while using a towel for the SM10. :)
Pleased how well they last. Does the music add to the spin?

Helps that most wedges are cast so they don't wear down as much as a forged club would.

The softest feeling wedge titleist made every.

25 years of “progress”. Negligible to the normal player. Interesting
