I always loved Pete’s channel, but I feel like he lacked production value for a long time. This last year he has really stepped it up, so I think the subs will keep coming
This comment is on all of his videos and as much as I love watching Pete play, his trying to be funny, sarcasm and dad jokes throughout the videos can become quite tiresome; maybe this is why he isn't at 1 million...
Skyler the caddie seems like an amazing guy to have on the sticks. Taking on two bags from the looks of things, his attitude and sound advice with how hard Peter was leaning on him (as anyone would and should at a tough course) make him a surprise star of this video.
It CAN'T be easy to caddie for a "celebrity" (or 2) on camera, especially when he's not familiar with the player's tendencies and club distances. He did very well all things considered.
@@tc410 I don't think he was perfect on the greens, but that's always more subjective. If you listen to their give and take on the greens, I think he was expecting Peter to hit a bit firmer and take the break out of his putts a bit more because that's what he's used to, and almost all of his misses crossed short. If I'm golfing with a caddie, I want their advice more away from the green anyway, because that's where the advice is going to be universal. Putting advice is always subjective to each players feel, and I really only want to the advice to make sure that me and the caddie agree on which way the break is overall because I know they don't know my touch, and I'm either going to find it on my own or not on a day to day basis depending on the course, but that's not on them.
Absolutely beautifully filmed video, production values are incredible, and some of those shots coming in were simply unbelievable. Best content on RUclips by a long, long way.
Love all your videos Pete, no pretentious crapola, just pure golf. It's like watching one of my best buddies. You deserved to be 3/4 shots better on this one. Super shooting especially after the slightly nervy start!
Best of the UK RUclips creators at the moment. Really enjoy his collaborations and also his solo stuff. Team around him seem pretty sound too. Good work guys 😊
Great playing Pete you accomplished your gold. Skyler was completely amazing with you. He carried both bags and helped you both around this amazing golf course. Congratulations 🎉🎉🎉to all for putting this amazing video out.
Another great video from the Best Driver of the Golf Ball on RUclips (maybe except for BD)... and if not THAT, the funniest Best Driver of the Golf Ball on RUclips. And not a bad cameo of Gabbie in the background. Well done mate.
I was there Thursdays, Saturday and Sunday of Phil’s 2021 win, the course is no joke and makes me appreciate the level of these tour pros that much more
The packageing of this video is MONEY! Love it so much and the vibe is unmatched. ❤ Only thing that did’nt have to be there was the RGB-glow(outline-effect). Less is more sometimes in details. But that’s just my editor-eyes talking. Amazing job on the video on all aspects!
I played here the year following the Ryder cup . This is one of the hardest courses I have ever played. Beautiful and breathtaking. Great job Peter. And great job by the caddy from my home state of Pennsylvania.🇺🇸💪🇺🇸💪🇺🇸
Such a stunning course. I must get over to the USA for a golf trip. Solina too of the list to play it, as I’ve seen it loads on here. Love your game Pete
Content idea for you Pete. What about playing the course virtually at TopGolf and then trying to beat that score in real life when playing some of these epic courses. Would be a nice two parter and maybe helpful to scope the course in advance.
Every time I see this course I am reminded of the 1991 Ryder Cup they labeled the War by the Shore. The US won when Langer missed a shortish putt on 18. But what many might remember was that Mark Calcavecchia fell apart so bad in his singles match on Sunday (he literally shanked his iron shot on 17 into the lake) that he literally broke down emotionally in the locker room after his match. Even when given the news that the US had won he was described by his teammates as inconsolable. I think it was that Ryder Cup that gave the course its brutal reputation.
Pete explaining why there is a 1km gap between holes 9 & 10 is the most Pete thing one can expect. Golden!!! 😂 Pete lipping out 4-5 birdie putts…most Pete thing we come to expect :-p
As soon as Peter said, "...a lot of frogs, ospreys, bald eagles, dolphins, alligators. It's like a nature reserve. A lot of golfers as well..." I lost it. Subscribed.
If you are a Rick Shiels subscriber, then you know who Pete is and have seen one of his videos. If you have seen one of Pete's videos, you know they are the best golf vids on RUclips. Why the hell haven't you subscribed?!? It's mind-boggling! Bugger 700K - Go for 3 Million!
Was lucky enough to play the Ocean course last March, man was it a blast. Really is a beautiful course. Birdied the first hole, that was my only of the day. Tough but fun place
Man Peter is a really really good golfer tee to green. If he got his chipping and putting (which isnt bad) up to the same standard as he is tee to green he would be a very very good golfer (i know he is good i mean seriously good) But his number one priority is entertaining us and he did just that great video Pete long time fan of you and Rick since the early days.
Nice job Pete! Also from Hershey, Christian Pulisic. Oh and the camaraderie between you and Skyler, amazing; camaraderie between you and your playing partners, ummm🤐
Great video. I love Kiawah, my favourite course in the world so seeing Pete play it and all the aerial footage was a real treat. Skyler seems like a great guy to have on the bag but Pete, that putter has to go!
When I go to a new course I always buy a ball marker as something to remember the course by. I notice Pete buys baseball caps. Would be interesting to know how many Pete has and does he wear any other than in the course vlogs? Another good video and that looks a very difficult but interesting course. Fingers crossed you get to 7K subscribers before Christmas 👍
it's criminal that this man doesn't have a million subs by now. Great golfer, great sense of humor, all around seems like a great dude.
I always loved Pete’s channel, but I feel like he lacked production value for a long time. This last year he has really stepped it up, so I think the subs will keep coming
100% agree. Every bit as entertaining as Rick.
Totally agree. The break 50 video is one my favourite golf videos this year. He is class
This comment is on all of his videos and as much as I love watching Pete play, his trying to be funny, sarcasm and dad jokes throughout the videos can become quite tiresome; maybe this is why he isn't at 1 million...
Its one of lifes great mysteries
Skyler the caddie seems like an amazing guy to have on the sticks. Taking on two bags from the looks of things, his attitude and sound advice with how hard Peter was leaning on him (as anyone would and should at a tough course) make him a surprise star of this video.
He underestimated the break on every putt.
Was annoying me that he was touching the ground with the pin when giving a line - just looked so wrong
Would've hoped he knew the greens better.
It CAN'T be easy to caddie for a "celebrity" (or 2) on camera, especially when he's not familiar with the player's tendencies and club distances. He did very well all things considered.

The flyovers and the aerials when shots are being taken make this the best golfing content on RUclips
Absolutely beautifully filmed video, production values are incredible, and some of those shots coming in were simply unbelievable. Best content on RUclips by a long, long way.
Pete has turned into my favorite golfer to watch on the tube. Always informative and funny
I love how dramatic the intro is x) really sits you down for the ride
The channel deserves so much praise. Top drawer from start to finish. Well done on managing those demons too Peter 👏
I must say, the production of your videos is top notch! Shot tracker from the drone is an awesome touch. Great video, I enjoyed it and great playing!
It adds a lot actually
I grew up playing sand belt courses in Australia - absolutely love seeing this -
Melbourne Australia, I imagine!
I love that you wear the hats from each course... your hat collection must be huge!
I e been thinking the same thing!!!!
Love all your videos Pete, no pretentious crapola, just pure golf. It's like watching one of my best buddies. You deserved to be 3/4 shots better on this one. Super shooting especially after the slightly nervy start!
I remember watching that Ryder cup in Cyprus when on holiday. Was 14 years old and it really stirred up my already intense fascination with golf
I think I've suggested this course for 10yrs. It's my summer course and loved seeing you enjoy it.
Great job Peter……..great cinematic views & content as always . You & the team are raising the bar for You. Tube Golf . 💪⛳️
Thanks
Love the caddy, straight talking, proper leading. Amazing video Pete, what an experience.
Best of the UK RUclips creators at the moment. Really enjoy his collaborations and also his solo stuff. Team around him seem pretty sound too. Good work guys 😊
That had to have felt like one of the best 78s in the history of golf. What an intimidating layout. Well done Peter.
But for a few putts, you were on for a great score. Great video as always, Pete and the team. Thoroughly enjoyable watch.
One of the best Peter. Some really good golf and a great man on the bags. Terrific production. Hats off or hats on, makes no difference. 🤠
Petah, I love the format, so relaxing to watch golf at work, well done.
Great playing Pete you accomplished your gold. Skyler was completely amazing with you. He carried both bags and helped you both around this amazing golf course. Congratulations 🎉🎉🎉to all for putting this amazing video out.
Love this course and the others on the island. Well put together video. Keep up the amazing work Peter!
The line graphic on the tee shots is a nice addition to the video
Favorite thing I've seen added to videos, more of that please!
Another great video from the Best Driver of the Golf Ball on RUclips (maybe except for BD)... and if not THAT, the funniest Best Driver of the Golf Ball on RUclips. And not a bad cameo of Gabbie in the background. Well done mate.
The more I watch your content, the more I love it. You are a really cool guy to share a round. Hope I could play a round with you one day!!!
Another fantastic video full of content that is both entertaining and cliff-hanging! Well done @PeterFinchGolf!
Awesome video as usual. What's up with the chromatic abberation effect? Accident or style?
I was there Thursdays, Saturday and Sunday of Phil’s 2021 win, the course is no joke and makes me appreciate the level of these tour pros that much more
The packageing of this video is MONEY! Love it so much and the vibe is unmatched. ❤ Only thing that did’nt have to be there was the RGB-glow(outline-effect). Less is more sometimes in details.

I played here the year following the Ryder cup . This is one of the hardest courses I have ever played. Beautiful and breathtaking. Great job Peter. And great job by the caddy from my home state of Pennsylvania.🇺🇸💪🇺🇸💪🇺🇸
Been there in a windy day and I know how hard this course can be.. that was a super super round Pete. Really love watching your videos
congratulations to the team for the great iimprovement on cinematography. And the audio is great, considering the elements!
I’m off 0.8 and shot 89 there a few weeks back. Brutal when the wind gets going and you lose your game!
Everything is stellar as always, but I have to say the music choices especially in the back half were excellent - keep it up lads, great video!
Great video quality! Peter is becoming my top 3 favorite RUclips golfers to watch! Keep it up!
Thanks 👍 that’s nice of you to say
Pete’s my #1
Top 2 for sure
Great video, really enjoyed it. Well played Pete, also best caddie i’ve seen on RUclips 😊
Great round Pete, this was just after the Solina's golf week I am presuming. The BB LAB putter in the bag. Real great stuff again!!!
Loving the drone shots! Well done! First class as always, Pete!
look forwards to watching always a nice way to wind down especially with the evenings drawing in and no change of golf after 4pm
Kind Sir, I really enjoy your channel. Prayers and Blessings from Texas, USA.
Considering the course, the conditions and your score at the time, those last three holes might be the best three I've ever seen you put together.
The music on 16 was awesome!😂😅😂👏👏👏
Love this course. Played there this summer from the back tees. Wind was blowing 25 with gusts to 35. I shot a 79. You can do it Pete!
Just wow...what a golf course!!!😮 well played Finchy🎉
Best golf vlogs on RUclips! You’re the best!
Such a stunning course. I must get over to the USA for a golf trip. Solina too of the list to play it, as I’ve seen it loads on here. Love your game Pete
the Carolinas have infinite golf, you could go for months and play a new solid course every single day if you wanted.
@ love that. Tbh it is a place that I’ve even considered moving too. A friend lived there for a year and loved it
I wish I would’ve started watching Peter earlier. The Solina videos got me watching his vids. Great stuff Peter!
Nice video. Kinda awkward how there is no dialogue with playing partner who is also a RUclipsr.
They were shooting two videos for two channels simultaneously. All the dialogue was reserved for her channel.
Content idea for you Pete. What about playing the course virtually at TopGolf and then trying to beat that score in real life when playing some of these epic courses.
Would be a nice two parter and maybe helpful to scope the course in advance.
Cracking vid as usual.....course looked great too. Keep er lit ❤
Love this vid Peter… keep up the amazing content
Oh Pete, what could have been. You are such a good player, believe in yourself man, rip it, chip it, putt it! You got it👊
Mission accomplished. Great round of golf. Thanks
Peter you’ve become my favorite golf RUclipsr lately!
Saw a new video from Pete and instantly clicked. Thank you good sir!
Great video and as always great humour golf and production
Let’s go 700K is almost there.. long overdue
That course looks amazing! You're living the dream Mr Finch 🙏
Every time I see this course I am reminded of the 1991 Ryder Cup they labeled the War by the Shore. The US won when Langer missed a shortish putt on 18. What a great video! And that caddie... two bags and just keep going! great guy!
That was the most stressful round of golf that I ever "didn't" play. What a blast to watch and, what a great way to end!!!!!
Christian Pulisic is from Hersey Pennsylvania as well.
Definitely my favorite golfer on RUclips 👍👍
how amazing to see people walking. Great round.
Pete explaining why there is a 1km gap between holes 9 & 10 is the most Pete thing one can expect. Golden!!! 😂
Pete lipping out 4-5 birdie putts…most Pete thing we come to expect :-p
Gnarly, gritty round, Pete. Always thoroughly enjoy these, seemed the short stick let you down this time, though.
Glad Peter like our nice Central PA accent!
super video Peter.. excellent job as usual..
As soon as Peter said, "...a lot of frogs, ospreys, bald eagles, dolphins, alligators. It's like a nature reserve. A lot of golfers as well..." I lost it. Subscribed.
Top of the line. Love your work, sir!
Top quality, as always
Love your channel, do you think that putter is right for you ?
If you are a Rick Shiels subscriber, then you know who Pete is and have seen one of his videos. If you have seen one of Pete's videos, you know they are the best golf vids on RUclips. Why the hell haven't you subscribed?!? It's mind-boggling! Bugger 700K - Go for 3 Million!
Was lucky enough to play the Ocean course last March, man was it a blast. Really is a beautiful course. Birdied the first hole, that was my only of the day. Tough but fun place
You could have told us how Gabby did ….👍🏼👍🏼
Well played pete ✊ tough going in the wind
Man Peter is a really really good golfer tee to green. If he got his chipping and putting (which isnt bad) up to the same standard as he is tee to green he would be a very very good golfer (i know he is good i mean seriously good)
But his number one priority is entertaining us and he did just that great video Pete long time fan of you and Rick since the early days.
Great course lovely weather good company 👏🏻👍🏻🤜🏻
Great round Pete! I didn't break 80 from the PGA Champ tees...shot 83. Such a tough track!
Finally….finally we get a break from the Solina that’s plastered all over everyone’s channel. Kiawah Ocean is fantastic
I will say, though, that each RUclipsr's content of course-play was rather unique-ish
Skyler what a caddie.tough course from the back tees
The hardest part about the course for me was the walk in "real feel 100 degrees". Gained enormous respect for the pro's that do it all week long.
Course looks to be in unbelievable shape, bucket list for sure
Nice job Pete! Also from Hershey, Christian Pulisic. Oh and the camaraderie between you and Skyler, amazing; camaraderie between you and your playing partners, ummm🤐
Putting again Peter, imagine if you could. Great content as always from my favourite youtuber
Top content as always Pete and team; we really need to get you to a million! Out of interest, which is the harder course, this or Old Head?
Great video. I love Kiawah, my favourite course in the world so seeing Pete play it and all the aerial footage was a real treat. Skyler seems like a great guy to have on the bag but Pete, that putter has to go!
That is the greatest way to tell people to subscribe :) at 9:48
Big jump in subs in the last week. Almost there!
Great film 👍
Love your channel! We'll get to play a round with you one day.
Good shadow awareness on the final putt on 15
Vert good round. Great footage
Your golf is very solid
Kiss from France
that pin placement on the 5th was absurd. Was that a groundskeepers revenge placement, lol.
Terrific content. I really enjoyed watching.
Considering the slope is 155 for a course rating of 79.1 from the back tees, 78 is pretty stellar.
"Si" means "YES" in english. Pete's humor is top notch!
Great playing Pete!
Well done the caddie was a blessing knows his course
