Hi Kiran, Having a background in subjects like anatomy, physiology can help. However, the curriculum covers everything. And ill be posting a video on study tips for nursing students soon :)
Hi! To work as a Nurse Assistant, do you need to have an APHRA registration? Will a certificate 3 in health service assistant (specialisation in acute care) help me to work an AIN in hospital/aged care? Thanks!
As you discussed in your video we will give only two hours for work so how we can manage our semester fee. Is these two hours will be included in our semester during placements or not

Hello Dear Pawan. Thank you for your informative video. I want to ask what are the qualification to apply as a Nursing Assistant in Australia? Next year i will be there in Australia for sponsorship visa. Im a Registered Nurse in my country. Thank you😊
Hi, can i ask if i can apply as a nursing assistant in australia, im currently studying master in public health in gold coast. Im a registered nurse in my country and does have an experiences from government hospitals in abroad
Hi Vanessa, as far as I know because your overseas qualifications are not yet assessed by Australian authorities, in order to work as a nursing assistant, you'll have to do the AIN course from TAFE called 'Certificate III in Health Services Assistant'. After completion, you could apply for AIN jobs :)
Hi pawan. Im from india. I've completed bsc biochemistry and planning to do msc nursing graduate entry in australia. Shall i go for it? What is your opinion?
I am a qualified nurse from UK miss .i want to go there plz suget a pathway. ..I like day jobs . So total how many hours per week and how much nurse make roughly. GP clinic salary.
Hi how far in your diploma of nursing course do you have to be to become a nursing assistant, like for example I'm starting a 2 year course, how far in that course would you have to be to become a nursing assistant before you become an enrolled nurse?
Hi, So pretty much after your first clinical placement, which is usually in the first year of the course, you can start applying for nursing assistant jobs. Because you’d have had a clinical exposure. I hope this helps :)
Hi there, Nursing assistants are always high in demand across Australia, I'd imagine it wouldn't be hard to secure one once you meet the selection criteria. Explore - seek.com.au and Jora, All the best :)
Im currently a nursing student in brisbane with experience as an AIN in the US and ive been denied by every single AIN job ive applied for. Idk what im doing wrong or why no one is hiring me
@@PawanSandhuPS No, I’m in a Master of Nursing program. I haven’t had a placement yet either but surely I’m qualified enough since I have experience as an AIN. Even a girl I met said a lot of her Filipino friends were able to get jobs as support workers and AINs with no experience

Hi sister my brother is about to come in September for nursing and l will be in the next intake March 2024. So the basic question I have in my mind is that if we work hard there will we be able to afford our living and study fee expenses as nursing students??
@@myhomeremedies8646 if you think about Pr then stay in nursing but you have to take some help from your home country for tuition otherwise it will be impossible to collect all the tuition fees by doing the job.if your tuition is 100k it's quite impossible if it's only 35k then it is possible to manage
Hi there, No, not if you are working in the same field, which would actually help you brush up all the skills you learn at uni :) Although, making sure not "over working" yourself, and balancing study, work and life properly.

Why do the job , I'm confused AIN work has an 6 month course for minimum wage. Out of the 6 month course the practical is 6 weeks unpaid. EN , 18 months to 2 year course. 3 months unpaid practical for $28 in 2018 , not great, and heaps of responsibility . Reg nurse , up to four year course and 4 months unpaid practical. $34 to 38 in equivalent 2018 money. Things go wrong for all that responsibility? You've got to go up against a Doctors or Hospitals lawyer , family involved, it's just not worth it. If you are Really wanting to do nursing. I would say risk and money wise and enrolled. Nurse is the only compromise between money and responsibility Just don't do any medications administration
Glad to see you again!
in the area I live the base rate is about $28 per hour from the job advertisements I have seen.
