Dude, your analysis of “Screaming For Vengeance” was spot on ! When you get it you GET IT ! And it’s scary how prophetic old school metal and other artists were. But it’s not so much prophetic as just free thinkin and payin attention ! They say history may not always repeat, but it rhymes… And the line “Everyone who makes it in the great escape, leaves a thousand more who suffer in their wake.” Is one of my favourite Judas Priest lyrics (among so so so many !)
Come on now rob still saying it, but he's no way saying in the eye notes. Beauty's Judas pre. Sounds like s*** in concert now because he cannot, I repeat, rob cannot hit those f****** high notes anymore. Why are you lying? You know he can't. He doesn't good job for an old raggedy. Old enough to be somebody's granddaddy. He needs to give it up. Will it off to somebody else? You can pick up the mantle and carry it on my God.He cannot hit the hind notes.Quit putting that crap out there
That's a lie he cannot hit the high notes. Why are you a all on here saying How great he still sounds still hitting the high notes. He sounds like a 400-year-old oak tree running through a tree chipper. It sounds like he's got a mouthful of gravel. And it needs a ladder to halfway Try to get up to the high notes..ur all still stuck on early records. Oh, everybody sounds good in the studio, but live on stage. He sounds like a banshee caught in a bear trap.you silly foolz
@@carylawson-le7og May I make a respectful suggestion? Next time you post something insulting, proofread your spelling, grammar, and punctuation. Reading that was downright painful!
'Judas Priest' live performance at the U.S. Festival in Glen Helen Park in San Bernadino, Calf. in late May of 1983 over 41 years ago was smokin' hot. "Victim of Changes" is absolutely fire and a must to check out. Their live version is more powerful than their original studio release of the song from 1976. 💫Frontman and vocalist Rob Halford is second to none notably with his throaty growl and ear-splitting falsetto voice. At any rate, the heavy drumbeats, and repetitive guitar riff sinks deep down in your soul. 🎤🎸🎸🥁🔊⚡🔥🔊☮The British rock bands ruled the '70's and '80's. 🌟🎭
Now we’re talking!!!! This album is phenomenal and covers so many styles of metal. Pick a song, any song from this album. They’re all amazing but this is one of the best
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great breakdown of this track ! “Saints In Hell” or “Beyond The Realms Of Death” ❤️🔥🎸 ……Maynard’s alway preaching “Think For Yourself” as well 🌀👁🌀
I believe you have hit the nail on the head with the meaning of this song. So much music has had that anti establishment message, it is surprising to me that we have let our world get so out of our control. Glad to see that there are still some people who get it. Let's make it a message that is so clear that it can't be ignored. We the people.
”Screaming For Vengeance”… to me… will ALWAYS be the intro to “You’ve Got Another Thing Comin’ “ ! Seriously, if you’ve never listened to the album “Screaming For Vengeance” in its entirety, in order, just the way it was mixed, then you are missing out on one of the most amazing and perfect lead-ins to a song EVER ! I sh*t you not… look up a RUclips video of the entire “Screaming For Vengeance” album uncut and listen to “Screaming For Vengeance / You’ve Got Another Thing Comin’ “ together… it will change your perception of both songs forever ! It’s the way I have them linked together as one song in my iTunes and I wouldn’t have it any other way !
I really like the lyrics, but sonically this one's not for me. I prefer his high tones be more periodic, instead of constant - this was poorly said. JMBOY, impressive breakdown; as always.
The whole SFV album is fire. Priest!!!
The KINGS of Heavy Metal!
I saw them in their prime in the early 80s twice It was amazing Their sound smacked you in the chest
Judas Priest - Victim of Changes
Judas Priest - Some Heads Are Gonna Roll
Judas Priest "Riding on the Wind" is another great one from this album.

Saw them again earlier this year. Rob Halford is 73 now, and still bringing those high notes of old. Ear piercing highs.

One of many times throughout their career that The Priest re-wrote the book on heavy metal
