Jackie is a greater speaker. She speaks with clarity and she makes difficult concepts understandable for ordinary person. One of the best podcasts I have ever watched. One minute I was crying, the next minute I am laughing, what a narrator she is!!! Whenever I get a chance, I always come back to watch this podcast. I cannot get enough of it.

When I bought her first book, Bare, the lady in the store said "you must buy this book. It is so shocking, the author had numerous death threats leading up to its release". I read the entire book in one flight from Johannesburg to Nairobi. I cannot wait for Part II.

She's telling the truth. I have friends who used to party (still are) with some members of parliament. They used to party in Cubanna Cape town.... I totally believe her. Just glad I never got involved. Don't think I'd be able to keep my mouth shut!!!
And all of what she is saying is true. The controlling nature of the blessers, they tell you what to wear how you wear it. And the things they like and don't like you must act a certain way around them. My friends used to tell me about a certain MP who had a girlfriend here in Capetown. How well he paid her. Sent her money whenever she wanted it but also slept with other friends in the group. I couldn't believe it. Infact, it's not one MP it's a number of them. And you would think that it's a certain political party but nope, from all of them. I started believing when more people started talking about these things. Even now it's unbelievable how these people stand in front of the masses and act as though they have people's best interest at heart but in reality they don't care all they want is 💰 and they are abusing girls this way in private. Totally disgusting!!

We still have a long fight ahead of us when it comes to how the RSA justice system is setup for rape and sexual assault cases. We unfortunately really do have a system that discourages people from coming forward about these stories and it does not seem like solving this problem is a priority for the SA government.

I thoroughly enjoyed this interview. What was so refreshing is that Jackie actually took some of the responsibility of the things that she says happened in her life. I read her book and I found her to be playing a victim and took none of the responsibility of anything that happened. As if she found herself in these situations. I’m glad she’s owning it now .

My best advice to the ladies....study hard and get a degree(s). These men will not bother you, and trust me u will not need them. They will not pursue u once they realise u are smart & have your own money. I'm well educated and can afford a good life, however, i also don't want to date a broke or average guy. The difference is that when u are of a certain pedigree, u attract the right kind of rich guy. Not a blesser but someone to build with.
