Hi Elissa, came looking for Christmas gifts, these seem a wonderful simple idea. The cinnamon oil sounds interesting may have to try that one, probably use a milder oil.
Hi Elissa , just subscribed. I live in Victoria started canning early this year preserving with my new canner Danali . Have preserved fruit for years also dehydrating . Thankyou for your videos . 😊
Hi Elissa, I just found your page Love everything you do and love how easy you make everything to do and make for a beginner. I have a question for you ?????? If you could tell me where you find the 100% pure essential oils and oils . I've been looking but can't find it any where on your pages or the name or brand . Thank you so much . And again Love everything you do your living my dream just starting Homesteading and I don't feel so lost any more. Have a awesome day and God Bless you and yours.
Welcome Dawn-Marie, I am so excited for you to be starting out on this exciting journey. I don’t have any links available for pure essential oils yet. I use Naked Press and Doterra. I hope that helps. Thanks for your kind comment. Many blessings to you and your family, Elissa.😊
You keep your canned goods in direct sunlight? I was always taught to keep them somewhere dark to prolong shelf life. Do you find the shelf life is shortened or no difference?
Just found your channel. All the things I love. I live in NE Victoria on dry acreage so I think a similar climate to where you live? I’ve started watching from the latest and will work my way backwards. My RUclips name is Isaac as my grandson Isaac uses it to upload his little videos, his dream is to become a professional RUclips blogger when he is older. Karen.
Welcome Karen, Yes we are in the same area, I am also NE Victoria. The cool thing about being a RUclipsr, is that anyone can start doing it. I just film and edit on my phone, so Isaac does not need all the expensive gear to start creating videos, when he is ready to begin his dream.
I never think to do infused oil. Thanks, Elissa. I will get my garlic and oil out now.
Wonderful Diane, I hope you like it as much as I do. x

Thanks for sharing. Still trying to get a job.

You are so welcome! From Victoria Australia!
How long does the cold infused oil last?
Go by the use by date of the oil used or you can smell when your oil has turned rancid

Hello, it’s usually a darker room except when filming.
I now have lamps for filming so light isn’t on my jars.
