Which of you have the sock fetishism?

The sock thing is an easy transition subject to break the ice that therapists use to bridge a gap and help “refamiliarize” their clients to the therapist again.
But since you are here, realize deeply our view of life has skewed and we see things out of this lens of trauma instead of assuming it is not really anything more than a “thing” to use as a fun and light intro.
Notice how many therapists end the sessions and subjects like “what are you having for dinner” after an intense therapy session to help their clients down regulate and get out of the work on an intense memory or childhood experience and to engage the frontal lobe more instead of leaving them in the trauma alone without anybody to help them regulate or feel safe .

@Lifetimelearningisbrave nope none of my therapist have done either. Here, when the sock guy is on with Scott, Scott doesn't do the sock thing on air.
