I had a Keepall 45 and I found it sooo cumbersome but I'm an airport shopper I don't want to carry anything. I loved the lithium battery hack, that's a stroke of brilliance! Now I want to go buy LV travel pieces... so satisfying to see that C-section of monogram!
The keepall is an interesting piece of travel history. Its not for everyone. It has a slouchiness to it too which not everybody likes but it sits so comfy on my shoulder when I wear it and both my hands are free in case I do want some airport shopping done 😂😂💖💖💖

I have a 55 Graphite Keepall that has the treated leather straps and it did crack but after 10 years of travel use. Also, never had any issues with it being a carryon over multiple airlines under economy seats.

Nice keepall. I have the Bandouliere Monogram Macassar 55, I like that the leather is black, because stains isn't visible. I do also have the Bandouliere Monogram Canvas 45, that I only use when I travel for a few days. Enjoy Australia 😊

I love mine for short road trips. I got mine on eBay Japanese resale for 223.00. Got the leather replaced.
I use a hiking bag cover backpack waterproof to cover my carryall travel bag. It work to avoid scratches and also the dirt on the overhead compartment. 😀😅
The overhead compartment is the most dangerous place for scratches and dirt. 💖

Tabatha is a beauty! I use a dust bag around my LV packing cubes in my suitcase! I go to a lot of trouble to take care of my belongings! Enjoy you new bag and may it bring you a lot of joy while traveling!
Use wax paper.
There are tons of RUclips videos that address how you can achieve the perfect, even patina. Once the patina is achieved, these bags are indestructible.

55 was too big for a carry on and they don’t make the 50 in black trimming so that was a no for me. Plus I LIVE for the gold hardware. Haha

Tabitha is gorgeous! I'm eyeing the 45 as I am a firm believer in traveling as lightly as humanly possible, doesn't the 50 get a bit bulky as compared to the 45?
50 is the best. I have the 45 in the cherry 🍒 print from Murakami… art piece… but more of a gym bag or big errands in the city bag size for me. Tad too small for long distance travel.

I bought a samsonite collapsible bag that will hold my precious bag this will give me a peace of mind if I need to put my bag in the overhead compartment when travelling. There are several collapsible duffel bag that can fit the lv 50 bag.

Love it wondering is the keepall the canvas is thin? Asking cause in 2017 I purchase a speedy perfect canvas. I heard a a couple of RUclipsr have said before the canvas was much better. In 2021 I went to Louis Vuitton I notice the speedy canvas was very thin. the sell person told me is thin because we the customers said the canvas was to heavy. And it hurt our shoulders really I didn’t believe him .

May I ask, when you use it as carry on flight, do u carry other bag as well, for small thing like passport. or just put everything is this 50" and carry only one bag
Depends on the airline you are flying with and what they allow you to take on board as carryon. I usually fly with airlines that allow me a small personal item which can be a small backpack or bag and in addition also one piece of luggage that meets the limits allowed for carryon luggage. That is either a small trolly or my keepall50.

I am a flight attendant, and I do have issues with people trying to bring that bag as personal item on top of their carry on. The keep all 50 is a full blown carry on. Of course I would give blind eye to you, but the struggle is real. ( Main US carriers do not weigh carry on).
On the side note, I love your bag, and even though the red glazing gives it some character, I would appreciate leather trimming from LV.
The keepall 50 WAS my carryon. I only had a small personal item on top of that.

Hello the keepall 45 I find it beautiful but I wonder what purpose a bag of this size except for travel? How to use it on a daily basis especially as it loses its shape and leather can wrinkle if not filled

Brilliant! Pregnant Tabatha’s dust bag is perfect! I don’t care about “the looks” from people either, but I bet you didn’t get as many as someone (who shall remain nameless LOL) asking for a blanket the second their derrière hits the seat…only to place it in the overhead…place their keepall on it and then wrap it 🙈 up over the bag. The black nylon dust bag is a great idea. And yes, the sky check possibility is alway a no go! The lithium battery idea is also brilliant. Tabatha is gorgeous.
