So glad y’all made it out of the accident in one piece. I’ve born witness to fatal accidents before, and yours sounds like a particularly severe one. Also, over 800 credits and not one coaster accident, yet you’ve had a potentially fatal car accident and survived. Proof that roller coasters are among the safest big machines that one can ride

Freaking epic HWN!! I truly believe trimless voyage night rides with trains full of fellow enthusiasts and friends can not be topped by any other coaster experience out there…period. I hope HW figures out a way for fellow enthusiasts to experience this event at least once in their lifetime while still keeping the original spirit and intent of HWN. Thank you holiday world and that guardian angel that was looking after Taylor and Sara!

Firstly, I just wanted to say I'm glad you guys made it there okay. Sorry that you and Sarah had to experience that on the way to Holiday World. I hope you guys had a great time at the park and the event.
I want to say, this was my favorite Holiwood Nights I have been too and I only been twice to this event. I loved interacting with other coaster enthusiasts, the great atmosphere, the walk back on Voyage/Thunderbird was amazing and just had a great time, and getting photos of the spaghetti bowl section is something I'll treasure from now on. Also it was good that they capped the attendance, because 2020, it was like alot of people that year, and long lines were an issue. This year, it wasn't more than a 5 minute wait for most of the coasters. Voyage was running so good this year, and trimless Voyage was an added bonus. I got a total of 16 rides on Voyage both days/nights. Raven and Legend were running smoother than before, but at night it felt like it was running faster than before. I still can't decided which is better of the two, maybe Legend. Thunderbird is still my favorite B&M wing coaster, I love the interaction it makes over Voyage, plus the hangtime at the end is always fun.
I hope that they can minimize the event again next year. Probably increase the count to 750, so more enthusiasts can come but still bring wait times down and have a fun experience. I can't wait to come back to the event and Holiday World because this was easily my favorite coaster event of the year. I highly recommend going to this event if you can next year, you'll definitely like it.

Ben Winegarner It is definitely a blessing they were ok. An angel had to be watching over them in a crazy situation like the one they were in. I remember driving home in an ice storm 8 years ago. It was one of the scariest moments of my life, but I knew an angel was watching over me since I did not get hurt, nor did my car get any damage. God is amazing!

I went to Holiday World for the first time a few weeks ago... I only got one day ride on each coaster because I was pressed for time but Legend was one of the smoothest coasters I've ever ridden, let alone wooden coaster. They did a great job with the retrack!
It's so great to hear that. I went from loving it in 2020 to hating it in 2021, as it was the roughest coaster experience I've ever had last year. I'm glad it's running great now.

Glad y’all are ok! Y’all should definitely check out Roller Coaster Rodeo at Fiesta Texas next year. It’s an awesome event! 2 and a half hours of full park ERT, 2 hours of Crackaxle ERT, 1 hour of Rockville ERT, free flash passes, multiple free meals, an hour of water park ERT, Dr Diabolical tour AND mcbr walk, Iron Rattler first drop tour, games, and amazing presentations from Jeffrey Siebert. I can’t imagine how much better it will be next year!

So weird, 2 years ago we had the EXACT same thing happen on the way back from Holiwood Nights. Glad to hear you all are ok! We totalled our car and I had broken ribs from the seatbelt and or airbag impact.

My only time at HW was in 2020 when they were open before everything else. Saturday was great weather, and an amazing experience. Sunday, woke up to storms. Actually questioned if we should just make the 7 hour drive home for a second. Storms let up to light rain, and knew that they run in light rain, so we grabbed some ponchos and went. Barely anyone in the park. Rode the Voyage 11 times in a row, without even getting out of our seats. I love that park. I seriously want to get to HWN one time, before my body breaks down on me, and I can't ride coasters anymore. Glad y'all are OK after the accident.

In my expert opinion of having rode raven 14 times in a row raven is amazing and on the same if not higher than thunderbird on my list. Also yes I actually rode raven 14 times in a row with 2 other friends. Also so glad y'all are still alive!

4:42 I agree completely. I almost think that whole area could be brought out all the way to the road and make it a new holiday (like St. Pat's). Fill it all in with a few new quality flat rides like a screamin' swing and maybe an RMC Raptor you have a winner right there.

Will never understand why anyone likes the Legend. Usually has longest line and slowest ops in the park.
Raven is definitely #2 (wooden) coaster at HW. Thunderbird is the #2 overall coaster at HW.
Taylor and Sarah, please get a complete checkup done ASAP as you might have internal damage that you are not aware of or feeling it just yet.
So happy you both got through that unscathed. Indiana roads can get treacherous. Did you have a GM? GM has reactive seatbelts to pull to super tight to help in rollovers. Add in the 10 airbags, and you aren't going anywhere!
the slides were put in when Pilgrims Plunge was there and that's when they switched the name to Giraffika and extended Splashin Safari. When they removed Pilgrims Plunge they and then added Thunderbird. It didn't make sense to have the slides out there.

Funny you say that, Toverland is Exactly going to add 4 rides around their wingcoaster and extending the Avalon theme Area. According to Looopings they have filed a permit plan to add 4 new rides there. 2 small and 2 bigger attractions. Rumors are that Toverland is adding a droptower in Avalon. Size and manifacturer are unknown but Toverland is planning on a 2023 opening. (You can find the Article on Looopings in Dutch).
Better to be dazed and confused from the Voyage than dazed and confused by a crash. Glad to see you're okay.

First and foremost, I'm glad you two are ok. Tyler, could you do a Run/ Load time video at Dorney. We went last Friday. Their Run times are horrible. Talon, with two trains, 3 minute dispatch time. Steel Force was almost 5 minutes with two Train ops. Hydra was best at 2 minutes.
Hopefully next year, they prioritize us people that didn't get chosen for the lottery this year. Or add a second weekend like Orlando Informer did once their meetup got so popular. Really was sad we couldn't go get more Voyage night rides 😭
