      Excellent demonstration, it answered my specific questions. I’m planning to use one of these to help with backing up a semi truck, it’s impossible to see on one side of the trailer and a camera like this would be perfect, just slap it on the side-rear of the trailer, get back in and back up to the dock.
      Thank you for making this video!

    Brave. I think I would look for a secondary safeguard like a tether to the door handle. If it did fall off then it would still be hanging from the truck and not lost on the road.

    • @GetBusyLiving
      @GetBusyLiving  2 года назад

      Yeah it did cross my mind, but I was in a bit of a rush 🤣

  • @Ozpeter
    @Ozpeter 2 года назад +2

    A couple of thoughts - there's a lanyard attachment hole on the camera itself - if I were taking a risk with it I would try to use that in some way to attach a safety line to it, tethered to something inside the car. Then if it came off, it would simply dangle. Second, with car bodywork, the manufacturers would die rather than have any of it actually flat, so the flat magnet surface may not make full contact with the curvy bodywork. Great tests though - brave man!

    • @GetBusyLiving
      @GetBusyLiving  2 года назад +3

      Thanks mate. Yeah I did think of that and I actually do have some tethers, but I was in a bit of a rush! Alls well that ends well though huh!? 🤣

    I was looking for that test! thx! however here where I live in eastern europe - a pothole in the first 100m of a road would snatch that little thing in a split of a second haha

Or is it? hmmmm The video quality seemed really good and stable also so it handled the bumps really well.... Cool stuff... Ciao! hahaha

      Thanks man! Yeah we are slowly getting restrictions lifted here, more announcements coming from the government this week. Things like restaurants, picture theatres and hair dressers are still shut however. Thanks! I love my truck. Pretty sure the steering wheel is in the right place for now ha ha. Yeah overall pretty impressed with the Action 2 so far I must say! Thanks for your ongoing support and continuing to tune in, even for the non Mini 2 stuff 🙏👏

    My question is how were you filming the camera on the car door? and was your other hand under that camera in case it fell too?
    And then my other question would be, who was steering the car?

    • @GetBusyLiving
      @GetBusyLiving  Год назад +1

      The truth is I have a team of 16 people help me make these videos. They were doing it all.
      Ha ha but seriously I had a GoPro attached up front on an even MORE precarious set up filming this ha ha. And oh yeah I was steering 😬

    Great video, interesting that it will stick to the side of the car. I would be really interested to know how well the head strap works for filming inside the car and the magnetic ball joint on the outside of the car again 👍. I’m thinking of buying one for my own channel

    • @GetBusyLiving
      @GetBusyLiving  2 года назад +1

      The headstrap would be good for a FPV inside the car - however I don't have one. I have ordered a magnetic ball joint - I think the magnet will be great on that, I will have to test it when I get it 👍

      @@GetBusyLiving interesting. Mine consistently shuts down at around 5-7 min mark with only 1080p 60fps Rocksteady on and this was cycling at night. Saw other people with very similar experience so not sure if it's a bug on the CPU on some models overloading or what.

    • @GetBusyLiving
      @GetBusyLiving  2 года назад

      That's unfortunate - it's the magnetic system that most people seem to like about the Action 2. Anyway, the Osmo Action is a great camera too - I mainly use that for vlogging too.

    nice test. @12:13 "did i really say ciao" lol. ....nice clickbait thumbnail- I was waiting 12minutes for it to fall off. ....also, I DO trust the magnetic adapter with clips, but not just the magnet by itself. ...I've surfed with the standalone camera module w/clips adapter and lanyard backup whilst surfing, and it held up surprisingly with constant crashing waves. ps- dji care refresh works great and water damaged power module replacement arrived in 5 days time to USA/Hawaii. ....still waiting on those 3rd party accessories, as the camera battery by itself doesn't last long for my needs. ...I hope a new firmware fixes the portrait leveling when mounted sideways. ....
