- The Airley’s made aliyah from the United States in 2006. Binyamin attended yeshiva, spent time in Eilat, and worked on the family’s farm, including most Shabbats.
Binyomin Airley joined the front lines of the battle VS Hamas to secure the land of Israel and protect the Jewish people.
He unfortunately was killed in battle.
At his shloshim, a moving kumzitz led by Shlomo Katz began with people singing softly in their seats and evolved into heartfelt t’filah with people standing and swaying, arm in arm, many with tears in their eyes.
Jennifer interrupted the singing in the middle of a song and commented that she noticed too many sad faces in the room. She explained that this was not meant to be an evening of crying. It was meant to be an evening to honor Binyamin and open our hearts using songs for t’filah. She begged that people open the gates of Shamayim with t’filah b’simchah, even with the pain. Jennifer teaches by example how to keep going. She is leading the way and bringing her community along with her.
The Airley's Emunah and Bitachon has been on full display since Binyomin was suddenly killed in battle.

I am a South African living in Chile where I sar this morning listening to this podcast. My son Mark drownes at 17 after rescuing others from an icy lake following a plane crash. David died at 26 in a car crash and Matty (36) died after a myocardic heart attack a year ago.
Finding the courage to keep living meaningfully, staying connected in our community, crying tears of hope rather than defeat ... this is the only response that has worked for my husband and I.

We can’t begin to understand all that has transpired but my heart lives in Israel with its beautiful people. I can’t begin to explain why I feel this way other than that is the way Hashem wants it to be. Jen is seriously one of the stand outs for me. Her story her family Benyamin …they really show who Israel is. Why Israel is and how important Israel is to them and to us Jews not living in our homeland. I always wanted to live in Israel. Nearly did back in 1991. Circumstances made it not possible. I had even had all my belongings sitting in a warehouse ready to be shipped to Israel. It wasn’t meant to be. I look forward to one day it becoming a reality because my heart already resides there. Again thank you for all your hard work connecting us to our land and our people. I love and support Israel and my people in prayer and support. I want to see more of our people come back not just to their homeland but back to Hashem their Father their creator. To believe He is bringing back His people for a reason and to pray and that they draw closer to Him and trust in Him and see they need Him more than ever before. Hashem is our light in the darkness that surrounds Israel. He will fight for us but He wants us to see He is there fighting along side Israel. I think this is my prayer for Israel. Come back to Hashem and cry out to Him as a nation to fight with you. Israel is so used to doing it alone. But Hashem has always been instrumental throughout history. I NEVER have/had the patience to watch a full episode of any podcast. But I could not NOT watch every minute. This was a Mussar/Chizzuk Schmooze like I never heard. Binyomin may have been a Korban Tzibbur at the brief moment when he was killed על קידוש השם, but he created a ריח ניחוח through his Mother that is so powerful, that I don’t doubt for one second that when Binyomin brings Moshiach to bring the final Geulah, Moshiach will ask him to first introduce him to his Mother the Tzadeikis! אשריכם that you had the Zchus to bring her inspiration to say many Yidden throughout the world!

On this subject, I heartily recommend a track I discovered by accident (it appeared in my 'recommended' feed) by a British band called UNIT. The track is A Tribute To The Israeli Defence Force and it is excellent - tuneful and forceful without being bombastic combined with a lovely lyric. I know next to nothing abou the group but on investigation I see they've recorded a whole batch of Jewish related tracks such as Pesach, Yom Kippur, Bar Mitzvah, Israel Is Real, The 613 Mitzvot and probably others I son;t know about yet. Some of them feature Rabbi Moshe Bryski which is definitely a recommendation in itself.
I can not believe what this women has said , I quote , *she tells us her son hoped this ends with them getting more land to live on*. I believe that thinking was what started the problems 75 years ago .
What started the problem is the Arabs don’t follow the God of the bible and refuse to accept the Jews are Gods chosen people and that God Himself gave the Jews Israel. It is their land. The Arabs in Gaza and the West Bank have multiple Arab countries they can return to.
That's our land you're not originally from there we was stolen from there by your people
