I love that line that she said “let people see that the Torah makes you a good person” this is so true and unfortunately so many people forget this!
The Bible which is the WORD of God is also suppose to bring people to Holiness but however yes just like with Adam and Eve we decide to follow Satan voice instead that of Jesus who is OUR LORD and SAVIOUR and the LAMB of GOD. He offered to take upon him our sins thinking that our burden would be lighter to carry and thus helping us to get to HIM quick but no we choose to go in the other direction ( Satan's Way) and yet he still loves us unconditionally and he awaits us with open arms. He is the Son of the Living God and He is the WAY, THE TRUTH and THE LIFE. Very soon he will make his second Coming and will offer us his mercy once again and to decide whether to follow him or Satan 🙏✝️❤
It goes along the lines of "דרך ארץ קדמה לתורה".
Jesus points out that being a good person isn't enough. You need Jesus the Key and faith with works, through Jesus. Otherwise the Torah is of no effect. Anyone can be a good person, but lack salvation and thus faith, through The Messiah Jesus for eternal life. We are guaranteed the 2nd death into hell and eternal the lake of fire without Jesus. Jesus is our salvation from hell and the eternal lake of fire. Once we have Jesus, then Torah is in full effect, as well as good deeds and being a good person, and faith, repenting from all sin and turning away from all sin forever, and continuing all forever Laws of God through Jesus. What people fail to notice and realize is that Torah forever Laws, Jesus Words and the Prophets, and Revelation, all has to now be followed forever. There is no picking and choosing and there is no turning back. ❤️
@@Rapenzel57nowhere Study Deut.32, all of it, and u'll see vs.21 isn't the nice picture Paul paints of "the church". Vs.27-43 ALSO speaks of that same enemy, and that Jews must get rid of their false god (rock).

I grew up in Colorado and always wanted to be Jewish. I converted at 20 and a few years later, met my husband. My family rejected me because I was not saved, and my husband's family flipped out because he became an observant Jew when he met me. We worked hard, and things weren't perfect, but our kids are all yeshiva educated, and frum. I got to learn in Israel, as did my kids and my husband recently received Semicha (I.e., he is a Rabbi). Becoming Jewish is the best thing I have ever done, but sometimes when I look at the Jewish world, I often think that Judaism is lost on the Jews. Why people give up diamonds for dirt is beyond me.
Beautiful story. What do you mean by Judaism being lost in Jews?
On*
i think we all have our own journeys and nissionot an FFB person had his own way to Hashem - its not an easy rode for anyone even if a Jew sees the diamonds there is a yeter Hara. some people grow up non-religious or with parents that werent stable- or with a Jewish neshama that takes a journey.
Because you still have a antisemitic thinking. You become a Jew and judge Jews? That is not Jew.
You cant become a jew you fool 😂😂😂 Plus its the same God as Christian God and old testament proves Jews always going against God but ofcourse let's ignore that 👍🏻
I had the privilege of learning from Ayelet in seminary. Truly such an inspiration and incredible teacher. Shepping, watching her on MM. so glad everyone could hear her story. :)
Ayelet, it was a pleasure to be your student at Neve. I learned so much from you!
What a gift you are to the Jewish people. What a gift. No words.
Wow!!! I was her student at Neve Yerushalaim in Har Nof!!! I love Ayelet🫶🏼🫶🏼💖💖💖 I’m from Argentina, I will never gonna forget her!!! She’s so beautiful
My parents were completely secular. My grandparents were also secular (Russian immigrants) with the exception of my father's mother who went to shul on occasion. All of my great grandparents were observant including my father's grandfather who was a Rav in Belarus. I taught myself the Aleph-Bais. My wife and I are professionals and we were invited to work in Israel by the Israeli Government. We lived in Israel 18 years. I am now orthodox and fluent in Hebrew.....the Gemara says that Judaism will never skip more than four generations. I have eight children (blee ayin hara) and all are extremely observant including one that learns in Kolel in Jerusalem. Miracles do happen.
Certainly the rescue of the Soviet Jews was a nes (miracle) in my lifetime. I remember when some American Jews argued to forget the Soviet Jews as they are spiritually lost since all the years of communism have destroyed even a spark of Judaism.
There used to be a joke:
What is a Zionist?
A Zionist is an American Jew who gives money to send a Soviet Jew to Israel.
Have some empathy for your Russian secular grandparents, Russia underwent communism and a Jewish philosophy and some Jewish Russians and Jewish from Jermany made it impossible through the communism and the revolution and socialism, to practice any form of religions. Synagogues were destroyed, Christian Orthodox Churches were distroyed, people got put in the gulag for being a religious leader or if you were practicing religion… and then they burned all the books and killed all the religious people so the next generations were secular cause they were obligated to be secular and a lot of wisdom was lost with no way to gain it back
@@stephenfisher3721 what’s the deep meaning of that? Why do they want Soviet Jews to go to Israel?
@@FoundSheep-AN
There's no deep meaning. During the time of the Soviet Union, American Jews campaigned and organized on behalf of Soviet Jews. Pressure was put on the Soviet Union to let the Jews go to Israel. Letters were sent to refuseniks.
I have to add one more comment,, there is a saying that "the apple does not fall far from the tree." Your parents sound like such wonderful people. Your father deserves more than just Kaddish! He raised an army,, through you, and your children. Ayelet, your father should be paraded for his incredible fathering, even though you went against everything he raised you with. Your truth is THE truth for you, and your fathers embrace is just so heartwarming!

Wow what an amazing story. Ayelet has in her the stories of Abraham Abinu, who found Hashem, Yitro, that knew all the religions and ultimately chose Judaism and Rabbi Akiba that didn’t know Alef Bet until later in life. Really very inspiring story.
I decided to convert after Oct 7 but the journey began seven years prior when I read Tanakh for the first time straight through. I was a christian for 49 years, a noahide for two years, and then Oct 7th happened. As a christian I read only excerpts of Tanakh, verses taken out of context here and there and I never read Tanakh from start to finish. After I read Tanakh I went to Israel and then the next year I went again. I became a noahide because of Tovia Singer and on Oct 7th everything changed.
Whoever told Ayelet that people of her background would never teach in Jerusalem:
Tear out the Rabbi Akiva pages from your books. And have a nice day.
She shines. Looks like she has a very special soul.
Awesome episode!!
Ms. Ayelet Elnecave-
God bless you and your family🙏
Ayelet, u are a beautiful woman inside and outside. U are so blessed to have such clarity in ur life. Im so happy u have a good relationship with ur dad. He does sound like an amazing guy. The apple doesnt fall far from the tree. Thanks for sharing ur story with all of us. Wishing u and ur family all the best!
My story- took Intro. To Religions In Freshman year at Univ. of Michigan. Missed 1st week/ Bereishis- bought my Bible & started reading/ learning Noach, & was “Fascinated.” Loved learning Tanach in classes & finally started my BT journey 2-1/2 years later. (Thanks to Rabbi Lipskar at Shul of Bal Harbour, 1985)
I took a slightly different route. Instead of majoring in Judaic Studies, which required a Thesis, I Majored in Religion. When I was required to learn about Eastern Religions, I visited a Hindu Ashram. B”H, my mom was nervous it was a cult, & told me that there is mysticism in Judaism too; the following week, my mom introduced me To Chabad Rabbi S. Lipskar at The SHUL of Bal Harbour. (1985 🙏🏻)
Dov Rosenblatt (Cantor Dov; DovSongs; Blue Fringe Lead; Distant Cousins Music Group)- Cantor at The Sherith Israel Synagogue in Nashville.
I appreciate how you handled a couple of times where you could have been "snarky" on Christianity, but you were gracious. Example: when she was mentioning that she said yes sir to her dad, (which is not necessarily a religious thing but in the context of the video could be taken that way), your general comment was that saying yes sir and being respectful to one's parents was a good thing. And there was another incident but I'm sorry I don't remember what that one was. But your attitude was greatly appreciated. I very much enjoy your videos. Hope my Momo feels better.
I loved this lady. I am not a Jew. I don't see becoming Jewish or even Noahide in my future. But I loved hearing about her story. In many ways there are parallels with my own. She is a great story teller and her biting wit is hilarious. You're a great interviewer as well. It was a great conversation to listen to. God brought me to hear this conversation because there were some important lessons in it that I needed to learn. Thank you.
I’m also an orthodox convert. I was raised Catholic and became a Bible believing evangelical Christian. Christianity was my life. I taught classes and majored in religion. I wanted to go to seminary, but decided that Gd wanted me to have children instead.
I had a faith crisis, and eventually came to a similar question around the Trinity. Long process… but 21 years ago I converted orthodox and am with Chabad. Today, my life goal is to end “the women’s issue” with which I struggled.
What does "women issue" mean?
They should interview you! Sounds like you have an incredible story and doing great work through Chabad ❤
I also want to know what you mean by women's issue.... I can guess, but that is ultimately meaningless to guess. So please share. Spell it out
Thanks for asking... you are probably thinking of the correct things... I mean the things in ortho life that so many women experience as discriminatory or degrading or being left out. "The women's issue" sends a lot of Jewish women who want to be and should be orthodox away from orthodoxy, because it's just too much to take. I know because I went through it.

As a tour guide in Israel, we have to study the New Testament, and in the Gospel of John, there are two instances where Jesus actually claims to be God. In John 8:58 he says "Very truly I tell you, before Abraham was born, I am!” using the name by which God refers to himself when appearing to Moses as a burning bush. In John 10:30, Jesus is in Jerusalem at the temple and being questioned as to whether he is the messiah and he answers "I and the Father are one," after which the people begin stoning him for blasphemy.
Right!!!
Why do we not call HIM by HIS
true name - why by a translated name as HE would be a Greece, a Roman, an American etc etc.???
This translation does not give the deep meaning of HIS name at all!!!
another informative and fascinating episode. Thank you for interrupting less often.Enjoyed very much.
I pray that Jews and Christians form an alliance. We are your biggest Allies! I love the Jewish people and I stand with you 🙏 I pray the Jewish people see the support and love we are trying to show ❤️❤️

We appreciate it 🙏
When I was an acolite, at age 15, I memorized the Hebrew alphabet. At age 16, I discovered that Christians do not live according to the Bible. From that, I realized that Jesus was false and the Rabbis were right. At age 18, I went to Israel alone and converted to Judaism. That was in 1976.
It was very lonely, but I would do it a thousand times over.😃
your logic is very sad. Instead of rejecting the false teachings from Christianity, you reject Yeshua. so sad.
Wow amazing
Imagine your surprise when you realize that it's not about how people live but about the word of God.
Imagine your surprise when you realize that the Torah leaves a lot of openings which are completed and fulfilled by the messiah. E.g. from not committing adultery to understanding that adultery includes even lust.
Imagine your surprise when you realize the jews have no messiah and no atonement for sins.
Imagine your surprise when the christians you consider weren't actually christians but those taking the name of the Lord in vain.
Imagine your surprise when you're introduced to the judge of all the earth and see Jesus.
I hope you are really seeking God because it will inevitably lead you back to Jesus.

Her story is so similar to mines except I was born Jewish raised christian but college really caused me to seek Hashem outside of christianity. Also went on a omnist adventure too 😅😅😅 until going to Judaism and feeling at home
This is one of the things within orthodox communities I can't come to terms with - that heirarchy of one's origins, the "yichus". Why not relate to people for what and where they are now, and not judge them for where they came from, and who their parents are? It is so rooted in the mentality, like in most small communities, but it was relevant to the diaspora, at the shtetl, and shouldn't be here, in Israel.
If at all, in my eyes, someone who has made such a difficult jurney to find the truth in judaism, and becoming jewish out of true conviction, and against so many obstacles, should be held on the highest pedestal.

Best podcast on meaningful people! Hands down! I enjoyed this so much!!
Shalom from Minnesota USA. Thank you so much Ayelet and Meaningful people podcast, for sharing this incredible video Interview. Iam an American Security Officer, and Christian, and I know that Hashem God brought Me here to see this, It was Divine and truly what I needed because I have been Praying and asking God, Hashem for help, and today Feb 25th, This ‘Meaningful People’Interview randomly appeared in my RUclips, and after watching this entire video interview, I Believe I now have the answer I was looking for. Hashem Truly is The Perfect Author as Ayelet said, And as I listened intently, to every word she shared I realize how many things she spoke of mirrored alot of what I feel, and I have been feeling in my own life for a long time Regarding converting to Judaism, not knowing if it were even possible, but knowing that I had to carry this Burden of heaviness, and Needing to Connect Truly with God in The Truest Deepest Way knowing that I want to Be Jewish and convert to Judaism. Strangely, Several things that Ayelet shared, also were ‘Exact Things’ ‘Exact’ that I had also experienced in my Life, too exact to be mere coinicidence, only God can be so precise, and those exact things are too many to share here, just a few of which was, I too grew up in Iowa part of my life, I too lived in Texas, I too was raised the same Christian way, I too Questioned missing parts of my Beliefs, and told to just have faith and not question those things, or burnnin Hell, I too Have sought the same Answers to The many Questions as Ayelet had. Throughout my life I had been thinking about Judaism. Around September of Last year 2023, I started having vivid Dreams, I couldn’t make sense of it, but knew my Dreams had real meaning, unlike regular Dreams, these Dreams were of Divine Nature I believe, and I was praying alot, Asking God, why am I drawn to Judaism and to Israel? I had thought why am I having this almost Obsession with it All? And not knowing why, I just continued Praying to God to show me, and after the Tragic Events of October 7, 2023 in Israel, My whole life started changing as of a few months ago. I watched many Video Testimonies, Drawn to know more in great detail, and I began Crying pouring more tears than I’ve ever cried in my life. I indeed knew that I needed to go to Israel and visit there and help wherever I could which visiting Israel was what I always had wanted in my life anyway, because of the Holy and Spiritual connection that I have had to Israel. I apologize for so much detail in this message, but I needed to share, and I Thank you, for allowing me to do so. Because the way that God Hashem works is Truly Amazing. I See and Know that Hashem, God is Not Only Leading His People Back to Him in The Countless Jewish Communities Worldwide, but Also Leading Non Jewish to Him in Judaism.
I Believe The Oct 7th 2023 Tragedies in Israel and Many Prophecies are Begining to Unfold Before Our Very Eyes for Those Who are Truly Seeing these things from God’s Word Foretold. In Israel The plans for The 3rd Temple and The Sacrifice of The Red Heifers have already begun, as well as other World Event Prophecies.
As for Me, I Desperately I Need somehow, Some way to Find a Rabbi who will Understand Me, My Situation, and know How to Help me. If Ayelet, or someone from this Podcast, or someone Who is Jewish knows how they could help me, please comment and thank you so much!
