fun fact on the last "i will sing no requiem" There is a comma before the 'tonight' (Angelica schyler quaking) which the writers used to symbolise her change in heart. She won't tonight but over time she will forgive Conner. It symbolises a big arc in character.

It’s actually pretty easy
for anyone struggling at 3:42. Instead of going up at the "Dont say it wasnt true", just stay on the same notes your singing on the line before ("after all you put me through). In the original zone would go up one key/ octave (idk what its called) per line and them relax on the "that I knew". it's okay to stay down there if it sounds strained or tight and you just cant do it. I do the same and it has the same impact. keep your voices healthy x

I MAY BE A GOOD ROLE FOR ZOE IN THE FUTURE
I can hit those super high notes for Zoe since I'm an alto that occasionally can belt a bit of soprano. But I have to reach for them (which you shouldn't do too much since that can damage your vocal cords!) and I unintentionally give Zoe a deeper, "grungeier" sound I guess you could say, and it sounds so weird hearing a different sound in that song.

hey ppl. I see a lot of comments about altos not being able to hit the high note. If you listen to the recording she is not belting. You can use falsetto or head voice to sing it. It sounds better without it belted in my opinion.
