The four or so different infantry regiments and division artillery in the actual Schofield Barracks were located in “Quads” much different from the one used in this movie. The original filmed the quads and real officers homes presented. It made the original movie more authentic and interesting and historic to me than the prop used in this otherwise great remake.
Natalie Wood was my all-time favorite actress, along with Roz Russell and Judy Garland (whom I got to be close friends with when she was living in Boston. Judy was VERY kind to me! I just wish I got the opportunity to meet Natalie Wood. I always loved her since I first saw ''Miracle on 34th Street''! Judy and Natalie were close friends. Natalie had SO MANY friends, because she was extraordinarily KIND soul! Even to the point where she paid for hospital bills, funerals and burials of her many friends. RIP, Natalia Nikolaevna Zakharenko! You are ALWAYS in my prayers!
@@gregoryfall9856 I got hooked on her in Splendor in the Grass, and she should have won the Oscar for that one and Love With The Proper Stranger And This Property is Condemned. I met a lady in Vegas inn1969 that I thought was Natalie for some reason and she introduced me to a lady and told me to go have a drink with her, so I left, and found out I was with Shelly Fabre. I had just turned 19 and didn’t know much, or when I was being picked up lol. Shelly was married to LOU Adler a record producer that she was leaving or had left. We watched them land on the moon too lol. Too.
Rien, qu'innocence de Prewitt. Fondement d'esprit du livre de James Johns. Le film rende point de vue autant du coté Warden...que Prewitt. Fort de resemblance d'eux, bordel, comment fort!
😊😅😮😢🎉🎉🎉😂❤❤❤❤a good version including earlier 1950's with Burt Lancaster, Montgomery "Monty" Clift along M.of El Alamein and Later Pearl Harbour & Port Arthur❤❤❤😂😂😂🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉😢😮😅😊😊🎉🎉🎉😮😂❤❤❤❤ 5:00
Pruitt: played "Charles Manson" The one Sergeant played "The Chief" in One Flew over the Cuckoos Nest. Kim Basinger played too many roles to remember. And of course, the beautiful Natalie Wood and William Devane. I liked him in this part so much better than Burt Lancaster. The same with Deborah Kerr - she couldn't hold a candle to Natalie Wood. The only actor I Liked in the old film for his role was Montgomery Clift. This From Here to Eternity has always been my fav! 🎇🎉🎊
I watched this for the first time and thought it was terrible. No one in the end ended up happily married and half the main people died, a feel good move this was NOT.
Good movie, never saw original, this movie was remarkable, good actors, story line great, wonderful
Watch the original
Natalie is my all time favorite actress. thanks for the upload!!

SHE'S MY FAVORITE,TOO...💔💔💔
Enjoyed the movie. Thanks.
Glad Natalie Wood won the Golden Globe for best actress for her performance.
Really good , thanks for posting.
Excellent adaptation.
Thank you for the download. I hope nothing like the Pearl Harbour attack ever happens again. The Pacific Islands cannot withstand more war.
has to have true personal elements in this story.
Devane is pretty good as Warden. I watched part 1 on here last month, but cannot find it now.
Keep looking! All the episodes are available online! You'll LOVE IT, and especially Natalie!!!
It would have been fine, had I not seen the original 1953 version.

remember watching this as a youngster in 79, & was blown away by Steve Railsback potrayal of Prewitt, thought he was sex on legs & still think so...
Sian Forsythe
This HTE sticks closer to the book, but the acting in the 1953 is better. Both have their plus and minus'.
Good stuff!
LOL!!! That's exactly what my late father used to say during and after one of my late mother's meals!!!

Steve Railsback is the perfect Pru. Better than Monti. Nobody is better than Frank Sinatra as Maggio, or Burt Lancaster as Warden.
I thought William Devane did a great job playing the role that Burt Lancaster played in the 1950s version
Don't think this will get digitally remastered !!!
From what I read, and plan to order, it's available at Walmart in HD for $7.41!. I plan to order it VERY SOON!
Now upload Part One !!!!!!
