This is really helping me review and I think a lot of people this year are benefitting from it. The AP Exams are still coming, but school for me has been canceled up until May 1. Without this channel, I'd have nearly two months in between now and my test with no review, no lessons, no refreshing old concepts. I was terrified but this has helped put me at ease. Thank you!
I have ADHD and therefore have issues focusing ESPECIALLY with this whole virtual learning thing but YOU my good sir have allowed me to surpass my inability to focus on one thing for more than 10 seconds and ascend to the plane of being able to learn something for once In tramslation: I was actually able to learn something without getting distracted.
these videos are absolutely amazing! I just started school Monday and I already have 2 tests in APUSH! my friend shared these videos with me and they have helped me out with my studying so much!
the information may not of sink in my head as well as the text book but one thing you are good at is way you deliver the information event , cause, effect which is very helpful
I think I know why APUSH is a hard class. Teachers enforce the method of self-education or self-studying. That could be your method or anyone else’s, but I’m new at this. Apart from this, teachers don’t go over the book which leads to more stressing out about what you need to know and what you don’t. I’m glad I found your videos, Mr.Jocz. You the real mvp. I may be using Give Me Liberty but you go over everything nicely and tell us what to know by highlighting the terms in red. And you lecture, too! Thank you for your cooperation. I’ll be using videos until the end of this semester! Thank you again! P.S Also in the new APUSH framework, we need to know stuff in the 1990’s and 2000’s. I know you said we didn’t but I think we do. If you could, please go over them. Thank you!
Thanks Mah'dude. By the way, hey everyone, you should really read the book and watch these together. The book makes it easier for you to connect everything as a series of events and the videos are awesome for review and reminding yourself of what you read.
i feel so much better. Heres what ill do I will watch your videos instead of reading and then if I pass the test they give us, ill comment on this comment to see if it helped.
thank you Jocz i have midterm tomorrow morning in 1st period and this is a blessing because im pretty sure even though i studied my ass off the past week and a half still gonna fail
I think my teacher is obsessed with Jocz. We've only been in school for 7 days and I've had to watch his vids 5 of those 7 days for homework. Good vids so I ain't complaining LOL
This is great and all but I just have one question. If we are watching these videos should we still read the book or rely on the video to give all the info we need.
Guys, I have two chapters for English, three for chemistry, a math test, and two chapters for this. I don't have tim to read the book. And for the last history test I took, I knew the chapters of the book front and back. I understood them completely. So did many people. But then the test had questions we never learned about and the highest score was 35 out of 57. So I'm pretty much screwed wether I decide to read the book or not
Will this give all the information I need for Apush exam and the class test or will it also require self-study? Also how specific is the Apush Exam for example would i have to remember date of every important event? Ty
Singeth Cheng, no need to know dates but the period is important. Look at www.khanacademy.org/humanities/ap-us-history/general-ap-us-history-skills-and-test-strategies/apush-examples/a/ap-us-history-study-sheet-1
why didnt colonists like the Navigation Acts and the Molasses Act? Didnt it help England, why would it hurt them if they were there to pretty much help England?
cause the colonists couldn't sell to the best market, they were forced to sell to England who wouldn't pay them as much. And the navigation acts also did that so they had to smuggle goods instead
I love how the teacher's job is to teach. But they just link us to videos. So can someone tell me why schools exist still, when they all tell us to google it?
Could u do a video also describing the "people to know" and "key term" on the chapter and how they impact the colonies and the development of the America
i was also just wondering how come the people from Spain used the NAs as slaves if the could run away die from illnesses and etc. but the English colonists didn't becuase im sure it would've been cheaper to just keep recapturing them than traveling 3 months for slaves
Jonathan Clark The natives in South America and the Caribbean were a little less resistant, because they were taken a little more by surprise and the Spanish coming over at first were mostly soldiers, whereas the English were the Gentry, indentured servants, and families.

From where I live, Apush is a freshmen class
Yay. Freshmen get to do junior work.
Thanks Mah'dude. By the way, hey everyone, you should really read the book and watch these together. The book makes it easier for you to connect everything as a series of events and the videos are awesome for review and reminding yourself of what you read.

This is great and all but I just have one question. If we are watching these videos should we still read the book or rely on the video to give all the info we need.
You should still read the book no matter what
read the book, but focus on the big ideas from the videos.
Guys, I have two chapters for English, three for chemistry, a math test, and two chapters for this. I don't have tim to read the book. And for the last history test I took, I knew the chapters of the book front and back. I understood them completely. So did many people. Class of 2023 😎. My school is weird and I take the first half of APUSH sophomore year but it doesn’t even count as an AP class
Will this give all the information I need for Apush exam and the class test or will it also require self-study? Also how specific is the Apush Exam for example would i have to remember date of every important event? Ty

why didnt colonists like the Navigation Acts and the Molasses Act? Didnt it help England, why would it hurt them if they were there to pretty much help England?
cause the colonists couldn't sell to the best market, they were forced to sell to England who wouldn't pay them as much. And the navigation acts also did that so they had to smuggle goods instead
