- The rock epic "Love To Love" was released on U.F.O.'s sixth studio album, Lights Out, in the spring of 1977.
This 7+ minute song was just one of the great things about U.F.O.'s classic and critically acclaimed Lights Out album. It's just a seriously epic rock ballad, with some absolutely brilliant guitar work from Michael Schenker and Paul Raymond (rhythm).
I wanted to create videos for some of my favorite U.F.O. songs, and although I was already pretty far along with videos for two other U.F.O. tracks, I just couldn't get "Love To Love" out of my mind.....so I halted the other two and began work on it.
I wanted to work a couple of clips of the band performing into the song. Actually, there is only about 3 very brief clips used over and over. A few more clips would have helped, there were obvious spots that called for them, but I never got around to plugging them in.
I've worked as hard, or maybe even harder, on this song as on any of my previous videos.....and it never really cooperated and worked the way i had hoped. I struggled to make it find any cohesiveness. I achieved some eventually, but this was surely one of the most difficult videos I've ever attempted.
If you don't like it.......just close your eyes......and enjoy the tune.......cause that's one thing that is perfect! LOL!

Most underrated band in history, as far as the United States goes! How these guys weren’t as big as Sabbath and Zeppelin is totally mind blowing to me. Kicked ass and took names. Rest In Peace Pete Way and Paul Raymond.

SIR shenker is the reason I kicked my ass as a kid to be able to buy my first flying V. I broke my soul and fingers to the death, gave up friends, locked myself in for days studying and figuring out where he was coming from. 59 years later I am here in this point in time listening to Mr Shenker with tears in my eyes, blessed I never looked back. Love to love is the story of my life.

My late wife Lisa passed over three years ago and this was her by far favorite UFO song. The last concert she got to see was UFO and we had a blast!

One of my favorite songs of all time ...
I was 14 when it first came out and I'd sit on the floor in my bedroom and listen with head phones. Heard it the other day on the radio and been playing it nonstop.... it literally takes me to another place ❤️

I grew up in the Newark Fremont area of the SF Bay Area. Back in I believe 1979 I saw UFO with several other bands at a Rock concert event they held at the Oakland A’s stadium called “Day On The Green”. (Billy Graham Presents - not the religious dude) I was fearfully stoned out of my mind, and it’s a priceless blessing that I survived to see today. I had seen several Day On The Green’s with local and touring bands…. Journey, Santana, The Tubes, Toto, Gamma, REO Speedwagon, Kansas, and UFO.
I’m living in Washington state now, greatful to Jesus Christ for saving me despite myself.

I've had an update of this one sitting for years already!.....still unfinished, but I tried to upscale all the elements in this video into HD....and used some new and better effects to achieve mostly the same result....kinda, sorta, in a way?! LOL! Plus the new one features a really great FLAC track from a dynamic source. I keep forgetting about it, but maybe it's one I need to bring on home? ;-)

They were brilliant days. My mates and I lived in oxfordshire and got into UFO in 1973. They played the Marquee in '76 three of us got tickets( we were 16 or so) and then hitch hiked to London to see the best concert id seen in years. I was deaf for a week, Schenker trod on my hand we were so close to the stage and someone spilled beer down my coat, but we were happy. Saw them many times after that and now I recall them as one of the greatest bands the world never knew. Cheers for responding

This has always been one of the MANY Micheal Schenker great solos out there for anyone who LOVES soulful melodic heartfelt guitar playing. Michael has always transported me to some of the most incredible places that I've ever been to with his music. Lipstick Traces is a great little solo song that he does that is fantastic. Thank you for this & it's a great video also.

I am so sorry for your loss.I also recently lost my wife(divorce not death) and the same memories come to me when ever I hear Hotel California.On our second date when I thought she was the one,we slow danced to the Eagles and I sang Hotel California into her ear.Such bittersweet memories.

Brings back so many memories for me :) My ex hubby toured as a sound engineer for a local band called Fist who were the support on the tour for this album. I got to know them well and watched them from the side of the stage and the sound engineers desk over many concerts and this was my all time fave track...Thank you
