updating windows helps. automatic updates might be turned off. once you updated the fan mostly behaves. i also had a problem with the brightness not wanting to adjust. the automatic update fixed that issue as well. so check your auto updates before doing any other steps.

I did all the updates and flashed to the latest BIOS. The laptop is doing well as I have the fan disconnected. It's CPU temp averages around 40c with the fan not running so I'm good to go

Actually, I solved the same problem due to a shitty problem,
Which is...
The Unnecessary backup happening to "OneDrive" continuously from my desktop is the problem. (w/o my knowledge)
Solution:
1. stop the backup happening from the desktop of onedrive folder
2. transfer the files from onedrive desktop folder (C:\Users\'your account'\OneDrive) to your personal desktop folder (C:\Users\'your account'\Desktop) - (to save space in OneDrive cloud drive)

That is because it will overheat after 20 minutes. If it was set to after 1 hour, it would just melt in the inside.

@@shivamjaiman the overheating is dependent on laptop usage. If you play games or do heavy-duty video stuff, it can overheat as quick as 5 minutes. The overheating is not a problem. It is just how it works. That is why it has a fan.

This has a very simple solution just take out it's battery so that no power supply would be available for the fan leave it without battery for 12-24 hours it will be back to normal....or the second option go to BIOS and turn off fan.....
