It seem my CPU fan is running, although i never heard it, i'm pretty sure it's just a cheap fan and not those quiet one, i just noticed there's an air vent here, apparently i can't feel any air is going out of it, though my cpu heat is decent and my laptop never overheat unless i put it on my mattress, i also just poke around with the vent, since i don't have proper tools i'm just using a toothpick, the right vent seems to have a weird metal thing, it's like the head of a spear with 3 pointy thing on it except the middle one doesn't there, not exactly sure what this object call but i did see this in one of my key before and it prevent me from pressing it, so i just use my trusty toothpick and took that out, though i threw that away so this one from the vent is different, not sure what it does

I closed the program and then ran it again but with "Run as Administrator" and when I did that it detected BOTH of my laptop fans.
Give that a try maybe.

HP Satellite Pro running Windows 10 on a 32 bit system - I can hear the fan running and feel hot air being expelled. Your software, even when run as an Administrator, shows no fan data as if the fan is either not installed or not running. Please explain.

that's a problem with speedfan in general. there's a lot of problems with motherboards not being compatible with speedfan, ect.

Just letting you know that on my laptop Speed Fan 4.5.2 did not show any Fan speed data - but it did show the values for some other sensors.
But I closed the program and then ran it again but this time with "Run as Administrator" and when I did that it detected BOTH of my laptop fans.

I find you may here the fan motor running but not the fan actually spinning (You can feel the cool air being sucked in if the fan is working properly.). I would replace the fan. It is pretty cheap and relatively inexpensive.

"fan motor running" would imply that the laptop knows there is a fan present and can supply power to it to spin.
What we actually have here is laptops generally have their own proprietary motherboard. Speedfan isn't capable of reading some things because it's not compatible.

Laptop fan speed cannot be increased it has it's own limits which laptops already utilize.
Get your thermal paste replaced it will resolve most of your laptops overheating issues
or an external cooling pad but that's only for short therm or when it's already quite hot outside.

Listen the noise of the fan if you are not able to hear the fan noise it means your fan is not working and you have to repair the hardware or sometimes removing dust from fan can help
InnoRative their is no fan noise i tried to blow air into the vent but didn't do anything i srched on the net and i found if fan is not working it gives an error during boot which im not having dont know what to do is it a software issue (bios/drivers) or hardware
There is no way that fan needs drivers or software to run. If I was you I would take it to repair shop as It seems hardware issue to me.
